ya, i hear you. the straight stuff was a bit meh, but I'm wondering if the best friend is super important and they used this to establish her character. a lot of this episode felt like preparation for what's to come. they need to put stuff in place cause of the time travel stuff.
controversial take: if Pam and Nene have the same goal and plan, Pam is the worse "villain" (minus money issues). Nene can hate the abstract concept of the siblings. Pam sees how they are kind to others and close to each other, she still goes through. And dating both is the only way to hurt them cause it drives a wedge between them... i love the story so far. have not read the book, don't care to. let's see how it goes
I'm gonna keep watching for the variety it provides but it's far from becoming my favorite gl. I have seen stronger actors. But also way worse. The production value is pretty neat
