I'm with you on this. i love EB! but what they are given here is really unfair. i don't mind shifting dynamics and giving another character time to develop as well, it's actually refreshing (Film is the cherry on top). I just think they forgot to give EB more. and anyone saying i need to interpretate and read between the lines.. where is the substance.. i agree, the writing team did them dirty. Chan is a wet towel for most of the show and Key is a doormat. that could be interesting to play with but for 6 episodes nothing happens, no one grows past their issues. i don't even know why Chan and Key love each other. They set up Jay in a way that she needed/deserved a foil, so ya, I'm stoked for ElleJay as well since this is a payoff I was "promised" by the narrative. Two eps left. let's see where they take us

It bothers me that Ai is depicted like a child but at the same time used to sayisfy sexual desires. The robot noises probably serve a purpose but they are quite annoying cause I keep thinking aren't other people hearing this? the side characters in their uniforms with tropey forgettable moments are meant to add humor, it doesn't land for me. at all. i don't see anything romantic in the show and we are over halfway through. i love for Gen to have a hype girl helping her stick to her art. but that's about all i agree with. don't get me started on Irene taking Ai's agency at her own convenience. the show makes me uncomfortable. the mom part played out so lackluster. this could have been great with tighter writing and awareness for the grey areas this subject matter occupies

that's what they actually did. they kept writing during filming AND the writers for the first 7 episodes are entirely different than the ones from the final eps. my gut tells me they didn't really talk to each other. explains Min's amnesia, Bambi's mom changing 180....
anyone else pissed off at the preview for next week? they put THE devastating scene at the end of the episode and you can't sit with it for even more than 3 seconds because bathroom make out
if it wasn't for the stellar cast I'd have dropped this forever ago. VM have basically no material to work with. Min keeps experiencing amnesia. somehow i change the rating with every episode that drops. one moment i like the show, the next I'm doubting everyone who was involved in the project (minus the actresses)
