Well, they know him and therefore know, that he does not love her. She even knows it. He knows it and has never told her that he does. She even complains about the fakt, that he has never told her.
So, how to put this nicely...? Considering the fakt, that most of the characters are in their 30s or seniors, most of them acted like high school kids. Starting with the most annoying character: the doctors wannabe wife and later wife. Imagine a five year old child, that clings to her mommy like an infant, is spoiled beyond measure, never makes any mistake and always gets what she wants - even if mommy and daddy have to buy it for her - in this case a husband. She falls in love with him after 0,5 seconds and does anything in her power to get him - as she has no more brain cells than a duck and therefore no power at all, mommy gets him for her. Altough he never shows the least bit of interest towards her, does not even care for her, she only asks him around episode 40 of 52 if he loves her and is angry and annoyed and runs back to mommy, when he can not tell her, that he loves her, because he does not. She treats everyone around her like a servant and cries and calls mommy all the time, if other people don´t do, what she tells them to do - yeah, and mommy solves the problems for her. She never makes mistakes, it is always the other person, that it wrong and nobody cares about her feelings and thoughts (yeah well, as mentioned before, there are no thoughts because of the lack of braincells...). I don´t know, if there is any character growth starting from episode 43, because I had to fast forward any scene with her in it. The eldest son: stuck up doctor who sells himself for a higher position in the hospital. This guy - I don´t even know, how someone can be so disrespectful to his father, who raised him, payed for his education and was always there for him. Really, he deserved the no brain cell wife he got. There is some growth starting from ep 35 or so. Till then, you want to slap him every single episode. The eldest daughter: Puh, 30 something and acts like a teenager....can not express feelings, moves with every wind, in whichever direction it blows her, can´t make decisions on her own....would be fine and ok with 16 but so not OK in her 30s. The ML CEO or whatever: another of those weak male characters, that is almost always present in chinese dramas. They are either overbearing and possessive (for the underage viewer) or weak. Has to do what his STEPmother tells him, even though he fights her in the beginning, as soon, as she is against him dating the FL (eldest daughter) he turns into a weak puddle of mud. The youngest son: he was very young, so anything that he does is excusable. Considering, that I had to skip all scenes which included either of the characters mentioned above, it was a quick watch. Typical stretched out Cdrama to the point, where you can skip 10 episodes and nothing really happened and you can follow the storyline just fine.
This should have been longer. Not like those 52 episodes chinese dramas, but about 10 ep each 45 mins or so. The acting was good. Especially from the ML actor.
If you do NOT want to marry, then do NOT marry! If you don´t have a backbone and are not strong enough to tell your mother, that you do NOT want to marry the woman that she wants you to marry, then grow up, man up and stop whining like a little baby. But if you marry and you are still seeing your ex girlfriend and run after her all the time, well, then THAT is called cheating! Honestly, who would even want a man like that?!? SO sick and tired of this weak male leads, that blame anything and everything on the mothers, families, wives etc. , have less brain cells than a duck and no backbone like a worm.
Weakest and at the same time one of the meanest ML. Every duck out there has more brain cells than this ML - he is fooled by the SFL and her father till the very end. How he treated his Ex Wife and child with the divorce is disgusting. To be honest, the FL was as stupid as he was, because she took him back. Do not bother watching unless you want to smash your screen....
He cheated - or thought he cheated. The ML ist very stupid in this drama, every duck out there has more brain cells, so he is fooled by everyone all the time.
OMG, THAT is a really sick drama! Dropped it, could not stand the abuse. Never seen a ML beating and kicking the FL near to death (and this happens in nearly every single episode!) and there are still people rooting for them to have a happy ending.
Let us be blunt here... If this were real life and not a drama, BOTH ML and FL would be in a mental health facility! The FL obviously enjoys being physically and mentally abused - that really is a mental disorder, research it and you will find the FL depicted in the symptoms. The more he hurts her, the more she loves him. Ever wondered, why she does not just walk away, why she NEVER, not even ONCE sets any kind of boundaries at least to the physical abuse? Yeah, that is one of the symptoms of the mental disorder. I can´t even count how often he mistreats her - but at least once every single episode. The ML obviously has a huge childhood trauma which results in excessive abusive behavior towards the FL and her sick mother. This goes on to the extreme, again and again and again.
If this were a drama about describing and depicting mental health problems , it would be really good because the writer really managed to bring those mental disorders to a refined dot on the i.
This is NOT a romance, this is the TOXIC interaction between two mentally unstable people.

I actually pitied the ML - everyone in his live was controlling and telling him all the time, that he was good for nothing. The FL was a Psycho controllfreak who chased him all the time and did not accept NO for an answer. Imagine those toxic male characters in lakorns, that throw the female against walls etc. yeah, THIS is the FL in this drama. The only nice characters are Poom and Oak. Really, do not waste your time.
