For me, this is the best Korean BL in 2025. Ji Sung and Ri U did a fantastic job. A couple who weren't afraid to touch, hug, cry, kiss each other. They were not afaid of doing "real" kisses and not just peck kisses or cautious kisses on the nose or neck. Falling in love, loving each other, separating, and yet always feeling this deep sense of longing and passion for the other person. Both actors did such a good job of conveying this. I'm still crying, I'm so moved by them. And Ji Sung in particular completely won me over. His character developed from a small, abused boy into a man who goes his own way, protects his partner, gives up everything, falls deeply and yet always retains his honour and pride, no matter how much others hurt him. I hope there's a chance to see both in a new project together. No mater what. ♥
I fell for him right after watching 13 minutes of ep 1. In the elevator...she left and HE CRIED. My heart broke for him I cried with him. I'm in love with him. 😉🥺💖
And here I am... crying like a baby over such a deep bond that transcends death. I won't forget Ye Yu and Lao Bai anytime soon. This isn't just bromance. That's love. I was captivated by their bond throughout all 24 episodes. Ye Yu, with his black hair and his dark passionate eyes that told Lao Bai he loved him with every glance. And Lao Bai, with his silver hair and bright eyes, said the same thing with every glance, every touch. Yan Zi Xian and Min Xing Han have an amazing chemistry and took the bromance to another level. We need more of them. ♥
I watch a version with crazy subs. And in ep 18 the doc said to YeYu: "You're truly not a good person. But for Jiang Shuai it's true love and sex." I almost choked on my coffee. But yes. true words. 💯👌👍
They made me cry again like a baby. I loved every single episode. I love Hajime's and Kai's relationship. I like them together with Anna as a family. And I love Hajime's secretary. She's a queen. ♥ And now I'm ready for season 2. PLEASE!
I actually stuck with it until the last episode, even though I wanted to give up a dozen times. Instead of getting better, like in other dramas, each episode got worse. Honestly, I'm glad this nonsense is finally over. Disappointment would be an understatement. I've watched countless dramas this year. Good ones and bad ones. But this is the worst one I've ever seen in my entire life. Such a huge disappointment. The ending... I'm lost for words. I was already speechless when CangCang got pregnant with her first child without any physical contact, who died thanks to that crazy princess who was obsessed with poison. But where, please, does that kiddo come from in the end? And why is everyone dead now?! The writers of this drama should really be banned. Writing such rubbish... they lack any talent. 📌Huge praise to Gala Zhang, who played his role as the second prince/emperor really well with a lot of feeling right up to the end. I hope he gets a new drama that is worthy of his talent. 👍
Right now I'm preparaing myself for a sad ending and my broken heart...again. But I'm so glad YZX did a bromance and together with MXH their chemistry is chemistrying. It would be so nice if these 3 can live together as family... Ronger, her "uncle" and his "friend". ♥
Ye Yu in red with his dark passionate eyes looking at Jiang Hu on the rooftop in the middle of the night, having some wine together and he playing the flute for JH.... Guys, that's NOT bromance. That's romance. And I really don't care what others say. It is what it is and oc there had to be a FL too. It's still a Chinese drama and the censorship is all around. But I'm absolutely ok with the drama and YAN ZI XIAN like always: handsome, hot, good. ♥

Except for Zhang Lin. In the first few episodes, CangCang was unbearable. And now this spoilt princess brat. Everyone acts as if she were a little innocent child. She is a grown woman who wanted to make a man willing. Damn it, that brat handled poison like others handle water. At first, she killed bugs and was willing to kill people because of her obsession with General Li. And I don't think I've ever seen a more expressionless lead actor than RJL. At first, I thought he was good. But I think this was my first and last drama with him. The male lead actor who does NOT kiss his wife and still gets her pregnant. It's all a load of rubbish. Actually, the drama really only deserved 5 stars. But my 6th star is for the great OST and star 7 is for GALA ZHANG.
