I haven't seen Scent of Time so I'm wondering if that would have been a better drama for Xu Kai to star in, rather than SEL? Did he get the short end of the stick in this deal?

Can you suggest a drama where he plays a nice guy? I want to have a more positive impression of him going in to this. His character in Flourished Peony and the sequel was the worst.

I'm guessing you're talking about Miles, since Xu Kai has never played a bad guy.

Just an awful story. I have more respect for sister. She at least would have fought for her life. The FL's behavior was pathetic and her death was her choice, basically suicide. Too bad she hurt so many people who loved her.

Ah, yes. The drama where Xu Kai's boss buried him under a mountain of pointless side stories and tried to elevate He Feng Tian (whom I love) into a ML.

Also, after hearing that Xu Kai was seriously injured onset and most of his fight scenes ended up on the cutting room floor, I find it difficult to rewatch.
