I think he'll share the screen with Miles Wei. There doesn't appear to be multiple SMLs to divert from the main story and pull significant screentime from Xu Kai and Miles. I prefer to be positive at this point.

Xu Kai's been filming for 26 days straight on the set of Strange Tales of Tiandu. Lots of locations, lots of costumes, lots of action.

I don't know exactly what combination of factors caused it, but it looks like Xu Kai will have more screentime in 5 episodes of this drama than he did in the entirety of Moonlit Reunion (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, slightly) .

I think fan pressure played a part. Maybe it's a way to demonstrate the support he has in the industry. Maybe Xu Kai used this as a bargaining tactic. Whatever the reason(s), I'm am so excited to see this drama next year/early 2027.

Just stopped by to "present" He Feng Tian with some flowers. I've enjoyed his performances in his many roles opposite Xu Kai. He brings a unique energy to each one, including being a backstabbing pr!ck in Royal Feast. That scene with the tea was absolutely heartbreaking. Kudos!

He Nan is part of the cast of Tian Du Yi Wen Lu, or Strange Tales of Tiandu, which is filming now. I believe she plays Xu Kai's sister.

I don't know why MDL hasn't added her to that page.

Why does she "need" to be boycotted? Any proof, or is it all just black marketing? After what Xu Kai went through, I'm loathe to believe any rumors or gossip.

I was wondering if you are targeting Xu Kai with your complaint about repetitive behaviors and facial expressions or if you post about other actors. I'm pretty sure it could apply to most actors.

Expressing your desire for Xu Kai to try other genres shouldn't be an issue. I think what might bother fans is that you say you were disappointed in his role choices, which to fans implies you were disappointed in the projects and/or his performance, rightly or wrongly.

I'm guessing you think Han Ting and Yao Zhi Ming are cut from the same cloth. They both appear to be privileged, highly driven executives, but their backgrounds are actually very different and their family issues are vastly different. One has been in love with the same woman for 10 years, while the other as far as we know has never felt love. Xu Kai was able to play these two characters who are similar on the surface and imbue them with unique personalities.

Xu Kai has been plagued by lies and slander since his career began. Please understand that this has resulted in his fans being quick to jump on comments they feel unfairly criticize the actor and the man.
