There's possibility that both leads will go to that romantic trope you mentioned. By the end of episode 12, we can see that they really care about each other.

They have good chemistry indeed, but not romantically. Their chemistry is more about trust, friendship, care. As of the end of episode 12, there's no romance (yet, we don't know if they will go that route), but they are really care about each other.

Despite the police and public already accused that Se-hyun is the culprit, Jung-hyun still believed that she's innocent and that she's hiding something much bigger and more dangerous.

And when Jung-hyun was being stabbed by Se-hyun's dad, she really panicked, cried, showing that she really cares about him.

No romance (yet), but already GREAT CHEMISTRY between them. Kudos to both actors -- Ju-hyun and Kang Hoon.

As far as I know (I watched the versions with bad translation and I don't speak Korean):

- Se-hyun's childhood name is Se-eun (not too sure about the surname)
- Yes she changed her name, not too sure about plastic surgery
- Yes, Eun-seo was her older sister
- Not too sure about the 1999 drum case
- Her sister (Eunseo) is not in present timeline so I presume she's dead, may be killed by her father.
- Se-eun (the little assistant) seems to be adopted, and he changed her name to be the same name as Se-hyun's childhood name.
- She initially removed the chemical information from the report because she didn't want the police to find out.

I hate it when the dementia/amnesia trope steps in. :(

So Eun Seo is Se Eun/Se Hyeon's elder sister (eonni)? What happened to her? Did the dad kill her?

she thought her dad was dead. he fell into the ravine. but apparently he survived.

she can't report him now because she was his accomplice when she was a kid (albeit being forced to do it by her father).

I am at the beginning of episode 5. I am confused, who is Se-Eun, the birthday girl? Is she young Se-Hyeon? If Se-Hyeon is adult Se-Eun, then who's the little girl in the present timeline, who's also called Se-Eun?

Just started watching. The drama gives a 'Perfect Family' vibe, but Juhyun's acting here is significantly better than in 'Perfect Family'.

It is a sad ending. Yes, the lead couple end up together.

the story progresses very fast. its a fast-paced plot, which is rare in daily dramas.

It's heartwarming to see Jaein's relationship with Boram, and now, for some reason, I find it equally heartwarming to see Ms Choi's (Misook) relationship with Yunhee and Boram.

And I love how Patrick defended Miran from her ex-husband.

The enemy lines have become more blurred now. Wondering how the story's direction will go next. It's a fast-paced plot, I admit.

Oh no, will Jae-in be kicked out of the house after the uncle finds out? Poor Boram, she will lose a mother figure.

I watched the first 15 minutes, and tears already fell. It's so cruel for a girl that young to be sent out to be a servant just because they don't have enough rice to feed her. So cruel.

A very heartwarming movie. The child actors and actresses are very cute and very good in acting, especially the young main female lead.

kim sang ho is one of my favourite veteran actor. initially I didn't know if it was him until I saw the cast list. incredible actor.

I didn't know that Ham Eun Jung could be that ugly, lol. Reminds me of Im Soo-hyang in Beauty and Mr Romantic when she switched from Park Do-ra to Kim Ji-young.

I can see that Doyun starts to understand that Jaein is also a victim in this mess, and he is sympathising with her even more. He's no longer having a revenge agenda against her. I'm looking forward to seeing them (Doyun and Jaein) working together to fight off all the evils.
