Finally, IU won the best actress award she deserves. Congratulations also to Hye-ran for winning the Best Supporting Actress award, and congratulations to the whole team for winning the Daesang.
Damn, I cried seeing the scene at the funeral hall, when Ja Yeong cried and apologised to Do Yun for killing her sister, and asked him to bring Jae In back.
This daily drama is indeed on another level: the fast-paced story, the acting, the plot twists.
Putting the bad AI-generated subtitles aside, this is a great thriller and suspense drama. It's much better than Park Ju-hyun's previous work, "Perfect Family", and we can see that her acting here is much improved.
Kang Hoon also shines in this drama, and his chemistry with Juhyun in this drama is amazing, despite there being no romance involved. From their eyes' expressions, how they talk to each other, the chemistry is spectacular.
The best acting would come from Park Yong Woo. His interpretation of a serial killer AND a father who "loves" his daughter -- up to the point that he wants her to be with him and to be like him -- is stunning, amazing and scary.
The child actresses -- Shin Yeon-woo as Eun-seo, Shim Ji-yu as little Se-hyun (past Se-eun) and Kim Kyu-na as present Se-eun -- are also amazing.
Plot moves very fast, yes, it was a bit repetitive in the earlier episodes, with Se-hyun kept on making mistakes and always being overpowered by her father, but it gets better, especially in the last 4 episodes.
The ending is satisfying and is crafted nicely to avoid an "abrupt" ending, which usually happens in most KDramas.
There's questions that didn't answer after finishing this dramaWhy did his ex wife leaves eunho? Is byeol even…
byeol is his real daughter. from what i understand, byeol's mom had some kind of baby blues depression, which is so severe leading to her despising and hating her own daughter. this usually happens to young mothers and if its left untreated, it may be dangerous to the child due to the risk of abuse etc.
so the father decided to raise the daughter alone to ensure the safety of the child.
So is her sister from the past definitely dead? I know in episode 14 it shows her hitting her head but with these…
I believe she was dead. She's nowhere in the present timeline. But of course I hope I was wrong.
Now I am really hoping that the little girl in the present (Se-eun) doesn't have the same fate. I hope Se-hyun and the police will rescue her from her crazy dad.

Highly recommended.

But now, I feel sad and pity her, since she seems to be abused by her father. I hope she doesn't end up being killed by her father as well.
