I can't find the clips in KBS Drama's Youtube channel. I guess because it's the last episode, so they didn't upload it immediately? Not too sure.

I am at episode 34 now and so far episode 2 to episode 34 are all flashbacks to the present timeline in episode 1.

Will we be catching up to the episode 1 timeline and continue where it was left off there (Jeong-in's death)? Or will this drama be in flashback mode forever? :) :)

I am rewatching episode 11. It's the best and most insane episode of this drama.

How Sang Ho oppa spared no effort to save little Sun Hui from the fire, which he managed to save her despite having to sacrifice his own life for it. It's so heartbreaking to see.

How the two parents are hysterical to see their son caught by the fire, with the firemen trying to stop them from entering the burning building. And when they hear the firemen say they found a body, and brought out Sun Hui, and not their son.

And how Eun Joo (the mom) kept on visiting the orphanage to check on Sun Hui, and the parents' decision to adopt her even though she's the daughter of the evil man who murdered their son.

The penultimate episode (episode 11) is the best episode throughout this drama series.

yes, the child actress who plays ara (yoon chae-na) was brilliant. her acting was awesome, especially in the episode when her biological came to visit her only to abandon her again. she won the best child actress award at the 2022 KBS drama awards for her roles in love twist and the love in your eyes.

i think she will be at least being nominated again for the same award in the upcoming 2024 KBS drama awards at the end of this year. but she might get tough competition from the two child actresses from perfect family (also in KBS) - oh eun-seo and shim ji-yoo, who portrays little sun-hui and little su-yeon respectively in the drama.

coincidentally, shim ji-yoo is also in this drama (last 3 episodes, as ji-woo the girl from orphanage who cannot speak due to selective mutism). i have a hunch that jiyu will be the one bagging the award for this year. she's also awesome in love next door as yeon-du but the drama is in tvn (not kbs).

other possible nominations for this year (2024)'s kbs drama awards for best child actress would be lee seol-a (beauty and mr romantic) as young dora, and jo eun-sol (snow white's revenge/scandal) as young seol-ah.

so, in summary, my prediction for the nominees of the best child actress in the 2024 kbs drama awards at the end of this year:

- shim ji-yoo (perfect family, suji & uri)
- oh eun-seo (perfect family)
- yoon chae-na (suji & uri)
- lee seol-a (beauty and mr romantic)
- jo eun-sol (snow white's revenge/scandal)

I am with you on this, Ara is also my favourite character in this drama.

I agree that the comment section here after episode 120+ is not as active as the earlier episodes (e.g. episodes 100-110, can't remember the exact episodes).

It seems many has dropped this after 120-125ish episodes.

Feel bad about this, since this drama has potential to be one of the best daily KDramas out there.

I think you are right. When Jintae saw the photos of the baby sent by Hyun-Sung, he commented that the baby looks like Hyun-Sung when he was a baby.

Yeah, agreed! But with only 2 more episodes left, I think it will be left out. Not enough episodes for another plot twist (e.g. if the baby is not Hyun-Sung's). Anyway, let's see. :)

I love Shim Ji-yoo since 7 Escape, and have been watching her in Sweet Mobster and Perfect Family, but her role as Yeon-du in Love Next Door is my most favourite.

I am at episode 31 now and the way how Jin Ho is treating Seol Ah is boiling my blood. He even slapped her when she said that she didn't want to take down the Internet posts.

Is this poor writing of Jin Ho's character? He has been a good friend of Seol Ah since the orphanage era (together with Eun Byeol), and he has been a good boyfriend to Seol Ah, even impregnating her, and ready to marry her.

After the amnesia, he is changed totally, even after he has recovered from the amnesia and can now remember everything. A history of 20-year good childhood friendship and romance would not go down the drain easily like that.

What was the writer thinking?

oh lol - unlikely that'll be the case though since she has never been close to her father even since she was little, right? she has been always with her mom (yun-ja).

even if her father showed up, it may be just momentarily like the case for ara's mom.

from the preview of today (127th) episode, it seems that nayoung and hyun-sung is officially divorced. nayoung might return to her parents and live together with her parents (jang-soo, yunja) and her grandmother. hyunsung took custody of their baby. doyoung will move to madangjib with doori.

that's just my prediction, though. :)
