OMG I really can't stand the mother and the landlady. Those two halmeonis are always getting on my nerves. I ended up fast forwarding any scenes involving those two. But I really don't know why they are dominating the screen time most of the time, sigh.
But overall, I really don't like almost all of the characters. Including Hyosim herself, the two Kang cousins, her brothers, etc.
The only likeable characters in the drama are Park Ga-on and Kang Tae-hee, who unfortunately do not have much screentime compared to the halmeonis. The rest are despicable, lol.
So there's a possibility that Woo-jin is Jeong-in's son with her former lover who looked like him? Then how they ended up together in the future, as implied in ep1?
It looks like there will be a three way fight between Emperor Penguin, Justice and Kitty, lol. I am happy that Eun Ha has at least two good people (Ji Hwan and prosecutor Jang) who can protect her so I'm not really too worried about her safety despite the threat from the Kitty mobster.
I also want to see more of Miho and Il-yeong. So sad to hear Miho's first rejection saying that she's no longer interested in him anymore. Hope they can become couple soon!
Oh and I am still waiting eagerly on the revelation that Jihwan is actually the childhood friend Hyunwoo (I think he hasn't revealed it yet and prosecuter Jang didn't inform her last time)?
My blood boiled to see Seol-ah being slapped by Ju-ryun in front of director Na. That's on top of the many slaps Woojin has experienced from Jeong-in in the past several episodes (I couldn't count anymore). Has slapping becoming a norm nowadays? It's a straight physical abuse FGS.
And why she didn't just explain everything to everyone.
- Tell director Na that Ju-ryun is her stepsister, and that Jeong-in is her stepmother. - Tell everyone that Jeong-in and her husband killed her dad, and she had to run away and grew up in the orphanage. - Tell everyone that he met Jinho in the orphanage, and grew up together . - Tell Woojin that he was engaged to her in the past as Jinho, almost had a baby an almost got married. - Tell everyone the truth about everything.
She needs to do it FAST (and NOW) before things get worse, especially since Jeong-in and her husband already recognised her.
I am still a bit confused with the ending of episode 1:
I understand that based on the mom's phone conversation with supposedly her husband (or ex-husband) who said that he's also having a hard time after she's gone, Min Na might have already dead in the past (may be during Christmas Day) and her existence in the present was just her mother's imagination.
But what I don't understand was the last phone conversation, someone (supposedly her daughter, since she called her mom?) asked her to stop sending her minhwa painting... what does it mean? Who is she? Or is that phone conversation her imagination as well?
It's her imagination. The daughter is either dead or doesn't exist at all.
Yeah I just realised she said to her daughter that fairies will disappear once we say they don't exist. And she implied that her daughter's "friends" were fake when she angrily talked to her daughter over the phone.
Unfortunately that caused her daughter to disappear as well. So I guess her daughter was also her "fairy" and actually didn't exist.
I am at episode 21 now. This is one of the most frustating dramas I've ever seen.
Why don't Seola or Eunbyul just jog Jinho/Woojin's memory by showing all the photos when Jinho and Seola were still together?
I am also frustated by Woojin's character, why he's still willing to be under Jeong-in and Ju-ryun's control. He could go to Seola's studio undetected so he's not actually locked inside the house like a prisoner. He can choose to leave the house to find more info about his past while still have bargaining power with Jeongin Entertainment since he's the main lead of the drama. If he backed off, the drama will tumble. I don't believe why he's still in such a "submissive" state. Disgusting.
And I am very much impressed with Jang Nara and Nam Jihyun's acting. Beyond words.
Can't wait for episode 4 tomorrow. The battle begins!!!!
Is the girl character (portrayed by Kim Si-a, I think she's Yikyung character's daughter?) - a villain/antagonist or a protagonist?
Spoilers are welcome.
Thanks.

If I were her, I would already move out and find my own space to live in. Let her mom and brothers take care of their own financial issues.
And yes I agree on how most (if not all) of the characters are being written as stupid.
Still considering whether I should continue watching or drop it.

Insane!

Why Seola is so dumb? I don't understand.
