Can Sun-young please stop pushing Suji for forgiveness? Why need to do her laundry and violate her privacy further? She needs time after being hurt for 27 years. Listen to what Uri said.
I am watching this drama now since it's available on Netflix, now at the end of episode 5. I am very much impressed with the acting performance and the beauty of the (then) child actresses: Kim You Jung as Yeonwoo, Kim So Hyun as Bokyoung and Ji Jin Hee as Princess Minhwa, as well as the child actor: Yeo Jin Goo as the Crown Prince. OMG, their acting is really spectacular for their ages! I can't believe that Jin Goo was only 15, and the girls were still only 13, at the time of filming!
The scene near the end of episode 5, when Yeonwoo asks her father to give her the "medicine" to end her pain, is particularly heartbreaking.
Oh, and the Crown Prince's eunuch (Hyung Sun, portrayed by Jung Eun-Pyo) is also funny and cute! :)
Su Ji knows everything but she has not forgiven her completely. Like some viewers feel that SY should have fought…
You summed this very well. Yes this is the reason why I don't like Sun Young's character. No matter how good she is as a mother to Uri, Duri and Ara, I still find her character unlikeable because of what you have just said.
this isnt related at all to the show really, but did anyone else notice the actor of woori has hurt his ankle…
I didn't notice, but if that's the case, then yeah he might be injured IRL. Same with the actor playing Suji's dad when his eyes were red.
This is due to the nature of daily drama when they shoot the later episodes while the drama is already airing. So the actors have to continue acting even when they are sick or injured, otherwise they can't meet the deadline.
Episode 66Suji learns that Seonyoung is her mother. When she realizes that even Jangsu and Yunja already knew…
Thanks for the written preview. May I know from where you get this?
I thought you wrote this based on the preview we saw at the end of the earlier episode, but it seems that you were taking it (or translating it) from somewhere? :)
SY should have told the truth right away. She was conflicted in hurting both of her children. She was also scared…
I don't think it's Uri's fault, he didn't expect that SJ would be SY's lost daughter. And it's not his intention to keep the adoption secret anyway, he just hasn't got the chance to tell her.
It's clearly SY's fault for keeping on delaying in telling the truth. Now, she's not only being resented by SJ, but she might be resented by Uri as well for wrecking SJ again at a time when she's supposed to be happy after her being able to resolve the issue and coming back to the hospital.
As I said, the delay by SY in telling the truth to her daughter is now backfiring. Not only the mother-daughter relationship is affected, but the relationship between Suji and Uri is affected as well.
As I said, the SY's character is really unlikeable.
I really want to watch this but can someone tell if it has too heavy drama? I can't handle any heavy drama rn…
I am watching up to episode 3 now and I feel it is very heavy, but enjoyable at the same time.
I am not saying that it's a bad drama, I enjoy this drama very much. But be prepared for some "heaviness" in the topic -- including death and physical disability.
Good action movie, albeit a bit violent and brutal. In fact, some of the scenes are too brutal for the young FL, in my opinion. Some of the disturbing scenes include:
- When the young FL's little brother is killed after being stomped to death by the horses the bad guys are riding. - When the young FL was threatened with a knife and almost got killed before the ML came to the rescue. - When the young FL was caught after a failed revenge attempt to kill the villain -- her body and head were stomped by the bad guy's feet, her mouth was stuffed with morphine, and her neck was strangled almost to her death, again before the ML came to the rescue.
Kudos to Yang En You the child actress portraying the young FL, she managed to portray such a difficult character brilliantly at her age. I knew her from "Lighting Up The Stars" and I'm sure she will become a great actress someday.
The story itself is quite straightforward and predictable. The ML is a blind bounty hunter, and the FL and her little brother are orphans. Her brother was killed and the FL wanted to avenge her brother's death. She asked the ML for help, but he didn't want to help her.
The action scenes are very good, but again it's a bit too violent and brutal to my taste.
Overall, recommended to watch. You can watch on iQIYI.
Let her come to you eventually.

SY is now reaping what she sows.
