I watched this drama when it was airing but I forgot something. Why did the kidnapper kidnap his sister?
other than the fact that the sister was kidnapped and murdered, the exact reason was never explained. but i think it's quite obvious, on a such case of kidnapping and murder of a young girl without any ransom request, usually the reason is sexual assault related. furthermore, another girl (the FL when she was young) almost became victim as well. can't think of another possible reason based on the circumstances - they just decided not to make it explicit since that will make the drama even darker.
- a very confusing storyline with many flashbacks, many of them repetitive- amazing action scenes -- this is the…
- some of the scenes are too gory and brutal for me, might not be everyone's cup of tea - i found episode 2 is the best episode of all (kudos to the talented young actress ahn sebin for delivering an amazing performance) - in overall, first half of the drama is good with tension being built up, but then it went downhill on the second half of the drama, with disappointment over the last episode
- a very confusing storyline with many flashbacks, many of them repetitive - amazing action scenes -- this is the main good thing about this drama - very open ending with the main villain (bale) not in the finale at all, disappointing to some viewers - good acting performances by almost everyone (main and supporting cast)
btw how is this a parent story of the killer's shopping list, what piece did i miss?
no connection except of the 2 actors featured in both dramas and from what i know, both dramas are based on novels written by the same author. that's all. no connection in term of storyline at all.
Park Ji Bin is not the only actor who showed up in The Killer's Shopping List. Ahn Se-bin also was in the drama as Yul, the abused daughter of the killer.
This was a good drama. I know it's meant to be on comedic side. But how the hell Kim Myung Joon was able to do…
it seems that in korea, it's common for a kid to stay in hospital by their own when they are hospitalised. so the nurses are taking care of them.
same with the facts that korean kids around lower primary age (8-10) are already left independent alone by themselves at home or outside when their parents are busy working.
but I am not too sure about this myself, though, whether it's only in drama or also in real life. 🤣
Love you on The Killer's Shopping List and the recent A Shop For Killers. You have the required talents to be a great actress when you grow up. Hope to see you in more projects soon!
I have watched until episode 6 so far. After understanding the reason why Jian's family is being targeted, I can't help but hate and despise the Jinman character. Yes, the ML, the uncle.
Because of him, Jian lost her father, mother and grandmother. Because of him, Jian was also targeted to be killed even when she was still young. She had to jump from a fourth-floor apartment (and get hit by a van in the process) to avoid being killed by the mercenaries. To make it worse, she was also targeted when she was in the hospital, and she had to flee to the morgue and hide beside her mom's corpse!! Seeing the little girl hugging her mom's dead body while hiding from her attacker breaks my heart.
She also experienced the aphasia / mute issue due to the traumatic incidents and her uncle did nothing to help her -- such traumatic incident needs psychological counselling FGS. Instead, he trained and groomed her to be like him.
If he didn't show up at the family's home, little Jian would have lived a happy life with her parents.
