This was a good drama. I know it's meant to be on comedic side. But how the hell Kim Myung Joon was able to do…
it seems that in korea, it's common for a kid to stay in hospital by their own when they are hospitalised. so the nurses are taking care of them.
same with the facts that korean kids around lower primary age (8-10) are already left independent alone by themselves at home or outside when their parents are busy working.
but I am not too sure about this myself, though, whether it's only in drama or also in real life. 🤣
Love you on The Killer's Shopping List and the recent A Shop For Killers. You have the required talents to be a great actress when you grow up. Hope to see you in more projects soon!
I have watched until episode 6 so far. After understanding the reason why Jian's family is being targeted, I can't help but hate and despise the Jinman character. Yes, the ML, the uncle.
Because of him, Jian lost her father, mother and grandmother. Because of him, Jian was also targeted to be killed even when she was still young. She had to jump from a fourth-floor apartment (and get hit by a van in the process) to avoid being killed by the mercenaries. To make it worse, she was also targeted when she was in the hospital, and she had to flee to the morgue and hide beside her mom's corpse!! Seeing the little girl hugging her mom's dead body while hiding from her attacker breaks my heart.
She also experienced the aphasia / mute issue due to the traumatic incidents and her uncle did nothing to help her -- such traumatic incident needs psychological counselling FGS. Instead, he trained and groomed her to be like him.
If he didn't show up at the family's home, little Jian would have lived a happy life with her parents.
Have just finished watching all 8 episodes. It's a unique and original story but with some missing plots here and there. The storyline goes up and down throughout all the episodes although the happy ending is quite warming.
The casting is great, and the acting performance of all the actors, especially the supporting ones, is awesome. The characters I like are the ML's mother, Fish the transgender (he can be very handsome and very beautiful lol), as well as the part-timer.
And last but not least, I love the little girl Yul with all my heart -- I am quite sensitive to topics related to child abuse and my heart breaks when I see the scars and wounds on her body when the ML's mother changed her clothes. It should be quite a challenge for the young actress to portray such a heavy role, she's doing great.
As I said earlier, the happy ending is heartwarming, although I really hope that the ML and the FL policewoman get married and adopt Yul -- instead of Yul going back to Vietnam to live with her paternal grandmother as implied during the video call at the end.
Overall - it's quite an entertaining drama, a mix of comedy and mystery genres. Quite recommended to watch.
I love her (Choi So Eun) as well. She's pretty and her acting is good. Can't believe that this is her acting debut. Hope to see more of her in other projects.
Cute and adorable, and great acting performance for such a very young age (she's only 6 years old as of 2023). Her notable great performances were in Our Blues (episodes 16-17, great facial and eye expression when seeing the 100 moons!), The Good Bad Mother (adorable twin daughter of the SFL) and O'PENing: 2:15 (as an abused child, she's showing great acting with another talented child actress, Park So-Yi). She was also good in See You In My 19th Life and Sweet Home Season 2 but didn't have much screen time.
She has been in many dramas in the past 2 years and especially 2023 is her best year when she participated in a total of 6 dramas. Looking forward to seeing more of her in the year 2024, and if she keeps on going this way, she will be a great actress in the future.
I'm now at episode 32/40. Really surprised to see the character development of Princess Pyeonggang. She's now…
And I love On Dal's mother. Even after she died, she's still accompanying her son when he was estranged from the princess (his wife) for 4 years. And she's no longer blind, yay! Wondering how, is it On Dal's hallucination? :)
I am now at episode 11/20 (or episode 21/40 in Viu), wondering if I should continue lol.I'm curious on who's Princess…
I'm now at episode 32/40. Really surprised to see the character development of Princess Pyeonggang. She's now just as evil as Go Won-pyo, the main villain. And her husband On Dal is just following her ambition.
And Go Geon is also now even more evil than his father after realising that he can't win the princess's heart. I was hoping he will be softened after realising his love for Mo-Yong but alas, he's still as evil.
I guess it's because politics are never my cup of tea. I like Ga Jin and On Dal spending time in the Ghost Village last time, rather than now in the palace killing whoever that gets on their way. Or to be exact, the princess's way.
I love Kim So-hyun and her acting in this drama but I really despise the character she's playing.
And yes, still wondering if I should still continue watching....

I'm curious on who's Princess Pyeonggang's biological father. The King or the monk? (putting spoiler because of this, please add the spoiler tag on your reply as well if needed)
