Just finished watching S1. I don’t think Mu Deok died. Remember Jin Ho Kyong told her daughter to bring back…
Wrong, JangUk loves Naksu, there is no MuDeok, it’s just the name used by Naksu because that’s what the Sari village people called the body she had soul-shifted into.
And Yul can never reunite with Naksu as he’s bound by honour of his family to eliminate soul-shifters as monsters that can go berserk and murder many people, which is exactly what Naksu did. The most Yul could do was keep the secret, and even that was a big weight on his heart. Only JangUk loves Naksu so much to even protect her from the laws of Daeho in spite of her having being a vengeful assassin. Heck they even proposed in the end.
It seems the show’s concepts were really difficult for some people to understand.
Even though I like the main male lead, I felt bad for Yul in episode 19.I always sense more chemistry between…
Actually that's how the Yul and Naksu chemistry is written - as a sad unrequited love to have to viewers even experience that color and emotional dynamic between characters. Yul's character is again and again iterated as the morally righteous mage from the honourable Seo family which is a prestigious nobility of the SeoHo fortress and even has ties to the royal family. He is torn by the fact that his first love turned out to be a criminal, an assassin at that, which he could never accept against the morals he swears by as his core life values, as his pride and identity.
Season 1 of 2 so a cliff hanger ending, but it ends with a closure to many questions and end of one of the main…
Yes and yes. The FL is the best thing about this show. Heck, even the MLs have some chemistry between them at one point. It’s a story overflowing with mysterious thrill and awkwardly funny moments back to back. Worth watching now without waiting .
I found a Kdrama with the similar main concept of switching bodies. It’s more scientific than fantasy, where a research team develops a formula that can switch consciousness between two bodies using quantum entanglement, in order to allow older humans to switch to young bodies and attain immortality in that way. But that formula is stolen and consumed by the two female leads causing their bodies to switch. And then unlimited comedy ensues. It’s called “Spring Turns to Spring”.
Now that it's finished airing how is it? Hows the romance/chemistry? Happy ending or cliffhanger ending?
Season 1 of 2 so a cliff hanger ending, but it ends with a closure to many questions and end of one of the main villains. The main couple have a secret contract relationship so it’s more like the male lead slowly softens the cold assassin FL with his commitment, even as she ruthlessly trains him to death. There are many parallel love lines in the story, with two other second ML interested into FL, with many couples between secondary characters having crush on one another, so lot of chemistry to be enjoyed.
Wait till you find out how there’s also a third male lead going for the FL. It’s not a love triangle at that…
No idea about episode number, but it’ll be quite fun to see even the crown prince of DaeHo, GoWon, one of the main leads of this show, apart from SeoYul and JangUk, have a crush on the enthusiastic maidservant MuDeok.
YunOk and SeoYul are from the same clan I think, her grandfather HeoYeom, as the elder of the clan, forbid SeoYul from revealing that he knew Naksu, in order to not defame the clan.
Everybody else has finished this and here I am starting episode 1, but im having crazy SML syndrome
Wait till you find out how there’s also a third male lead going for the FL. It’s not a love triangle at that point but a love tetrahedron. But all of them are onesided for a long time, the FL being a cold assassin by heart.
Yes to the Red Wedding for a season end, great finale. Naksu fought toe to toe with ParkJin in even ep1, no wonder she’s destroying everyone once serious.
Sung DongIL is good in comedy dramas. His character is named HeoJoon here, and I'm guessing he's intentionally named so, because maybe his character is a doctor. Let's see!
Looks like after huge sucess of Extraordinary Attorney Woo . We are getting many K drama with Lawyers story plot…
Not really, there have always been many interesting lawyer kdramas every season, though only a few hit big. EAW is just one of the recent ones in the trend. Korean writers when not writing rom-coms and slice-of-life turn to sageuk-politics or crime-thrillers, and these crime-thrillers naturally focus more on feeding the korean's fascination of sending their children to law schools, if not medical schools. Another very recent kdrama, "Why Her?" is one such example. Though in existing crime-thrillers, prosecutors are more explored as character professionals than lawyers, as justice is more romanticised in older dramas. That might be changing with more bold approaches with Netflix and OTT bringing fresh competition, bringing more light on the more ambitious lawyer side.
It’s called “Spring Turns to Spring”.
For example, Jung SoMin’s “Because this is my first life” in which too she uses a unique dialect like how she does when talking like MuDeok.
Also JaeWook’s role in “Search WWW” is of a softie.
Shin SeungHo’s role in “How to buy a friend” has his character full of conviction yet with many vulnerable moments, just like the CP.
Yoo JoonSang, who plays the role of the stern leader of Songrim, has a memorable role in “Uncanny Counter”, where he even shows off muscles!
And SeoYul aka MinHyun’s music video for his song “Universe” literally has swords and ice-stones! :)
