He used her to get her shifu and she is mad at that. But she comes to understand that he did for the greater good that is why she is not truly mad at him and stay by his side. She just need time and he gave her that.

Dont bother with this kind of people. That is why media illiteracy is a thing. You got writers write a truly complicated character with depth and some people interpreting such character simply as narcissist lol.

Sad ending but very poignant and makes sense.

There is no love triangle. She never shown any signal and clearly said she is uninterested as early as episode 3. 2ML likes her but theres that. This is not love triangle at all.

He is not a champion of sad endings, out of all his 20 dramas, only 4 with sad endings.

No, she doesnt have Stockholm syndrome. Read the reviews above about the drama. She didnt change him or he change her. It was a little bit of understanding which makes them see each other differently.

Its not quickly. She is a smart girl. Behind all the mask he wear, she comes to understand that behind his ruthlessness, he comes for a purpose. Thats why we see her research about Yuelou and ask Brother Chu about all the things that she didnt understand. Then once the understanding start, its easy to see how quickly she view him in different light after that.

The ending makes sense. It is a sad ending but not a bad ending. People need to separate between this 2.

He need to stay inside to hold of the Emperor from running away just like in the novel. The explosion already started happening at that time. He is strong but he is not an immortal/God. There is no time to run away as the only door he has closed. He did what he has to do to save his people. TBH, it is more illogical if he can escape.

Nope. But it make sense and not illogical. One of the best drama of the year tbh.
