Lol, I have the same problem with long length C Dramas, and I just remembered that I was convinced to watch The Legend of Shen Li because of a GIF! It was a good experience, so I think you're right, balance ⚖️😅

I started off watching rom coms, but soon enough, I discovered that I preferred K Thrillers to your quintessential K rom com. And it's only very recently that I watched a good one (Connection - 2024), I was in a K thriller slump of sorts because they just seemed to have tapered off, and even the ones we got were kind of dissapointing.
I hope we get more of the genre, and hopefully good ones too, there's something about a good K thriller/horror drama.
Reading this got me reminiscing about my first dramas, my journey of discovering my favourite titles and that made me realise that Until We Meet Again was one of the first dramas I watched as it aired! In retrospect, it was a wonderful (albeit slightly draining) choice to watch weekly and I can still recall sitting in my corner couch and sobbing softly so no one would disturb me as I watched 😅

What a sweet article!! Loved that you highlighted Pi and Duean from Fish Upon The Sky, an underrated pair of siblings if I might add. Through all the yelling and craziness of their relationship, they loved each other a lot, and the fact that both of them could go to Wan for advice when neither of them was feeling very idea rich was so sweet. They're one of my favourite duos too, that chaotic side and dynamics between them was great to watch lol.
