They say you shouldn't mold your expectations of love to fiction, but if there is anything out there like this, that's what I want. Not one red flag in sight, just a beautiful love story. Stories, rather.
There isn't one unlikeable character, one unnecessary storyline, nothing of the sort.
Watching this is like your ultimate comfort zone: it's just.. happiness
THE DETAILS
The two major cut scenes were the ones you mentioned
This article helped me find more of his works to add to my list, thank you!
That's a wrap
There was also an extended cut of the Three Must Eat - eers recieving their medals, with a moment of respect between Prem and Chang Ma, and a sweet speech from Na, and most importantly, a hilarious moment between Dynamy and the French chef. Why, oh why do they always cut the humour from the YouTube version?
This scene was subtle and so hilarious, I loved it
There were three cut scenes this, all kind of sweet, and somewhat bittersweet.
Red flags and toxicity are fine (and I do enjoy them at times 🙈), but wholesome is my JAM.
Where else do you find characters who are sad, but not upset because they're just that proud of their partner for following their heart?
Where else do you find characters who stage an elaborate apology and celebration to proclaim just how much they appreciate their partner?
Where else do you find characters who get jealous and can still have a mature conversation to resolve it?
Where else do you find characters who would muster up an entire fandom to cheer up their partner?
Where else would you find characters who would go out of their way to kidnap someone, help set up an elaborate scheme and even throw in some fireworks, all for a coworker?
While these kinds of actions and gestures may be common sometimes, there's something about these characters that just elevate them. How are they so amazing, sweet, kind, thoughtful and just plain wholesome?
