Thank you for explaining. I was wondering, as have no ideas what are criteria to get it to wider international audiences. For some of the Chinese drama I really like, I also follow IMDb, and this one had at some point 8.9 rating there (which I think is very high for IMDb) and now dropped to 8.4 https://m.imdb.com/title/tt26732356/. I just want the thing to get to Netflix, and if higher Douban rating is what is needed for it, so be it. By the way I am liking with double thumbs up this kind of stories on Netflix itself, so they see a demand growing gif it (its a two way street, isn’t it, offer and demand 😊).
By the way, out of curiosity just checked TTEOTM on IMDb: 8.9 and growing. That one will probably end up on Netflix. Wish them well, but want my CXX and LLD to get the international recognition they deserve! Sorry for whining early Sunday morning😅👋🏻.
