do you recall the stare of the FL in the PA back then? I actually think that the stare in the current series is true to the character / personality of the FL (both in the old as well as in the new series).

I stopped being apologetic about how much I like this. It wouldn’t do justice to the great job these actors did. And yes I am one of those who was glued to the screen many years ago as well :). Still, this one is stellar in its own right.

OMG Peter Sheng is on again! Glad he is back in good dramas (Also in Generation to Generation). I liked him so much in Oh my general!

Ik. I was shocked the first time. So unexpected. This time when they reminisced, I kind of knew what to expect. Less shocking and to me more realistic.

I am a huge fan of the old PA, but this one got me right away due to its rawness. Somehow almost like it more, as it’s less styled / made pretty. Just raw and ugly, where needed.

One of the most epic scenes in the old one was when SML has to identify his killed family. That scene lasted a long time in my head, with the way it was done back then.
How they made it now it’s probably how it would happen, if it would take place in real life, hideous as it is.

Meaning both are beautiful and fit for the time and style they were made in. I plan on enjoying this to the fullest and hope people can look at it with a fresh eye☺️. Peace ✌️

This is like an Agatha Christie crime story. And Dr Poirot (the detective) is Master Wu. 🤩😂

This is such a quality drama .
It won’t be the cup of tea of everyone, but give it a try, if you have the headspace.
