Ok I was out for work the whole week and haven’t seen the series nor comments here. Starting again to watch as of episode 14. I’m surprised it is still Low rating here and even more surprised about the Douban rating. So far I always had respect for that one, but after this I won’t care anymore and - as many of you here - just watch and make up my own mind and rate (or not) the drama for its own value (yes, personal opinion and valuation). To me it is still very good and should be a platform for furthering the career of many of these young hard working actors (male or female). Anyway, see u later!

do you recall the stare of the FL in the PA back then? I actually think that the stare in the current series is true to the character / personality of the FL (both in the old as well as in the new series).

The rating getting worse is actually crazy 😭 because the drama is so entertaining but I guess I’m the one…
Pity about the rating but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying it . Pity that people don’t recognize the efforts of the crew and cast. Such a premium watch. I stopped being apologetic about how much I like this. It wouldn’t do justice to the great job these actors did. And yes I am one of those who was glued to the screen many years ago as well :). Still, this one is stellar in its own right.

Ik. I was shocked the first time. So unexpected. This time when they reminisced, I kind of knew what to expect. Less shocking and to me more realistic.
I am a huge fan of the old PA, but this one got me right away due to its rawness. Somehow almost like it more, as it’s less styled / made pretty. Just raw and ugly, where needed.
One of the most epic scenes in the old one was when SML has to identify his killed family. That scene lasted a long time in my head, with the way it was done back then. How they made it now it’s probably how it would happen, if it would take place in real life, hideous as it is.
Meaning both are beautiful and fit for the time and style they were made in. I plan on enjoying this to the fullest and hope people can look at it with a fresh eye☺️. Peace ✌️
