So, this was filmed before The blood of youth? LHY is a good actor, of course I liked him - like everyone else - in blood of youth but he stole my heart in Wulin Heroes (rewatched the latter like three times). I also thought the Youkou one would be first, but this one here is a nice intermezzo. So this is a film version of a novel? A popular one?
Finally a drama with armies that are worth the word. And that old genezer with his no less than seven sons! Very impressive sight to see them together in those uniforms. So far, I like it quite a lot, and at least it’s a fresh angle for a story. Let’s see how it develops!
I've watched up to ep 5, but both main leads' acting seem forced, and still nothing original in the plot. Nothing…
I felt the same with all three other dramas you mention and haven’t watched them fully. Also shadow love I couldn’t watch fully. This is - for me - a totally different class. I’ll be starting from episode 1 again, after having finished the whole thing. But tastes are personal, do what you feel it’s right for you.
