Every day I check for updates too. Your comments are hilarious 😂

I started this drama for Wu Shiguang—but what they did to his character is nothing short of disappointing. Wu Shiguang is the Tenth Dragon. By every logic in the story, the power and throne of the Dragon Deity should belong to him. He should have been the one to inherit that role. Instead, the entire narrative sidelines him and revolves around Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi, who are somehow portrayed as more powerful than the Tenth Dragon himself—handling responsibilities and wielding powers that were clearly meant for Wu Shiguang. He was supposed to receive the final Dragon Deity power from Han Ba and use it to bring rain, saving the mortal world from drought. That was his purpose. That was his arc. Yet the drama completely abandons it. Instead, Lu Wuyi prioritizes saving Ji Ling, while the suffering of the mortal world is treated as an afterthought. And the biggest issue? The screen time. Zheng Shunxi and Chen Duling were promoted as main leads—the second couple meant to carry significant weight in the story. But from the very beginning, their screen time was limited, and after episode 16/17, it’s reduced to barely 2–3 minutes. That’s not just poor writing—that’s outright misleading. If this drama was always meant to center around Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi, then it should have been marketed that way. Labeling Zheng Shunxi and Chen Duling as main leads just to attract viewers feels like a deliberate bait. At this point, Wu Shiguang’s character feels completely unnecessary. If Lu Wuyi and Ji Ling can solve every conflict and even wield the Dragon Deity’s power themselves, then what was the point of introducing the Tenth Dragon at all? If they were only meant to be supporting characters, they should have been introduced as such. Calling them main leads without giving them the narrative importance or screen time they deserve isn’t just disappointing—it’s deceptive. On top of that, it feels like the director deliberately used Zheng Shunxi and Chen Duling’s hype and fanbase to make the drama successful—which honestly comes across as a betrayal to the audience. And in the end, it just makes me feel like my time was wasted.
