That was my issue (and many others issue) with the girls scenes in the original. The girls were definitely wrote to incite hate in the viewers. Jeed's character was completely unlikable yet so were the other female characters. The only female character that wasn't portrayed as shallow, greedy, or mean was Phun's sister. I would hope that after all these years we won't be seeing that kind of portrayal if they decide to include all the additional side characters.

I mentioned passionate kiss scenes as well as NC scenes both of which exist in the original media both in novel and series form. This isn't 2014 anymore. Even in "innocent" BL we expect at least one proper kiss scene. This particular story is very much a coming of age story that involves characters facing and accepting that they have feelings both emotional and physical for someone of the same gender. The original story is not a fluff piece where everything is innocent and sweet 24/7. There is cheating, manipulation, violence, sexual jokes and situations, and a number of other subject matters that are not going to be comfortable for very young actors.

Casting actors closer to 18 would not hurt the production in any way. It would in fact be a benefit since there is less likely to be pressure from parents to limit the content and scenes. In the original series White and Captain's parents objected to a number of scenes leading them to be cut or reshot. During a live showing, fans got to scene one of the scenes that was deleted and it added context and depth to the relationship between Phun and Noh. Because of the parents, that scene never made it into the actual series. Had the boys been a few years older we most likely would have gotten what was originally meant to be filmed and showcased.

So, I've noticed a few things. First the casting director clearly tried to copy the look of the original cast with most of the casting. Most of the cast looks eerily similar to the original cast. Second, there was no need to cast actors as young as 13 (the one playing Mick is literally a 13 year old) to play these characters. 18 and up or adults (Thai society considers 20 and up adults) would have been more appropriate.

I loved the original and saw it back around the time it aired. There were a number of scenes including several kiss scenes cut from the original because the parents of the actors disapproved. I can see that happening again with how young the actors are. I don't want an exact remake, line by line, scene by scene, of the original.

I do want the actual story to play out and not have to be diluted down or edited down because the actors are not old enough to have NC scenes or passionate kiss scenes. Captain and White did a great job within the boundaries they were working with but BL has progressed immensely since then. There is an opportunity to really showcase the relationship between Phun and Noh that could be lost if the script and casting are not handled carefully.

If they are going through with this remake then it needs to be updated. I also hope they completely cut out the Jeed nonsense since it added nothing to the original story and very few people enjoyed it.

Please don't recommend her videos or accounts. She's incredibly problematic. She takes a tiny bit of truth and twists it and people end up believing it. Because she does sometimes report real issues it makes it hard to tell when she's lying and when she isn't. I use to follow her when she stuck to just news and light speculation but she's allowed her follow count to push her into making more and more assumptions. She's said some really nasty things about some actors and companies that weren't true. When people have messaged or commented with proof that something didn't happen or that it was something manipulated by an anti-fan she just ignores it and removes comments as well as blocking those people. She's caused people to attack artists on their social media from the nasty things she's said.

Meb has both novels. Meb also has the Middleman's Love and Bed Friend novels that the other Domundi boys will be in series based on. I find it interesting to compare novels to the series because you get a better understanding of the character's history in most cases.

It's not sad at all. If they follow mostly on the novel then they will have to ignore them getting together in Cutie Pie though. In the novel Yi takes a lot longer to deal with his feelings for Diao. I'm interested to see if they follow the novel more closely or if they change large parts of it to match Cutie Pie. So far what we've seen more closely follows the novel. Cutie Pie had a number of differences from the novel which I really appreciate. In the novel Lian and Kuea's first time happen when Kuea is incredibly drunk and unable to consent. They did the complete opposite in the show and emphasized consent multiple times. I'm hoping the keep that kind of mindset for Naughty Babe.

Perth and Earth are friends so anything that may have happened is obviously been resolved between them. Earth has been in the business long enough this point that I don't see him putting up with people disrespecting him or treating him badly.

Perth didn't do anything to Saint since that seems to be what you are referring to. The management at his old company was shady and did a lot of horrible things. That's why he, Mild, and another actor left the company. There was never a problem between the actors instead the issues was the people handling the actors.

They make a reference to Type's boyfriend once or twice and might mention him by name but Type himself is definitely a background character in LBC. LBC was filmed and aired first but timeline wise the events happen after TT. When TT was filmed new actors were cast for nearly all the roles. At the end of TT season 1 there is a time skip a few years ahead and there is a cameo by Mean who plays Tin and Saint who plays Pete who greet Tharn and Type and talk for just a moment. Tum and Tar are step siblings so I see why it icks some people out but it doesn't really bother me. There is no blood relation between them and Tum obviously doesn't see Tar as his brother. Without watching basically all the content for all the shows it's hard to keep track of certain things.
There are two seasons of LBC, two seasons of TharnType as well as several specials including one where Tharn goes to meet Type's parents for the first time and another special for their wedding. There is also a special for the evil former best friend but I refuse to watch that one. Then there is Don't Say No which happens after TharnType season 2 and has an episode 0 that bridges the gap between the two shows. It has some stuff from TharnType season 2 in the first half of the episode and the rest of the episode shows how the main leads of Don't Say No end up together. Don't Say No is unusual in that it starts off with the leads already dating. Mame has wrote tons of novels and most if not all are interconnected.

JaFirst have such amazing chemistry. I am hoping this will have a happy ending but it looks like it might not. I really want more series and maybe a movie with JaFirst. They are able to play off of each other so well and they both know how to really bring emotion to their roles.
