If they stayed together, he would have probably treated her like his inferior considering his character now. He would have most probably wanted qin shi to be timid and depend on him unlike how qin shi's a girl boss now. Sure, qin shi would have been actually married to him if they stayed together but it wouldn't have been a happy one for her. Her relationship with Yang Hua is way healthy for me to even consider the possibility of qin shi & tao being together.

aaahhh!! exactly! qin shi is playing her cards well when it comes to yang hua's mom. I just love it! It cracks me up when qin shi shuts yang hua's mom & yang hua looks at her with so much awe like a 'where-was-this-woman-my-whole-life?' impressed look.

I wonder too. Yang hua is a calm person but if he himself got so angry at that Tao, I don't know what the annoying Tao did. I just hope Tao gets what he deserves
