I just finished episode 5. Correct me if I'm wrong but Chizuru has feelings for Sakuko...from that hug? I noticed she reacted strangely but it was a second. I thought I was reading too much but my radar wasn't lying. Kazu-kun is still annoying to me. He's trying to understand Sakuko but he imposes himself in the temporary family Sakuko and Takahashi-san created. Takahashi-san is a good guy, he wants Sakuko's happiness, even if it means accepting Kazu-kun in their temporary family qpp.
I just finished 2nd episode. Even if I'm not aroace, I could feel the pressure of society that want you to be in a relationship, marry and have kids (heteronormativity). The family pressuring Sakuko to hold hands with Takahashi, asking when they will marry...all of that was suffocating. Her sister's boyfriend is trash ("Oh, It's LGBT? I heard it from a student. Are you one of them?"). The father understood (I watched it with Japanese subs) she wasn't going to have a relationship in the near future but asked her to go home (with Takahashi or her family?). I liked instead of using family (家族) they want to use 味方 (mikata). This word means friend, ally, supporter. It sounds like s/o, zucchini, queerplatonic relationship and qpp. I can't wait to see the next episode.
5th episode and, yeah, pretty graphic. I fill him so much. Why? Why he makes him goes to that extent? Now I started episode 6 and he's done, done of everything
I just ended the 3rd and 4th episode. He wants to be normal so badly. He even tried to do simulations but you can't have adult drive for a person you don't feel romantic/sexual attraction. Sleeping with her didn't worked as expected. The ending was surprising and I didn't expected it. Preview of next episode looks really bad (not disappointing but I'm worried for Jun-kun). Also in this episode I understand him so much. Can I say that woman is really cute (not the fujoshi)? Her accent is not British (the actress is Australian)
I just finished the 2nd episode. Oh boy! Why this drama is so relatable? He likes men but his friends, her mother and Miura want him "normal". What is "normal"? Even this drama address this question. Society and your circle of friends and family want you in a certain way and if you are different, they isolate you. He's living a double life: the hetero one (he wants to be normal with a girlfriend, marry, have kids) and the gay one (loving men, he's true nature). Let's see how the next episodes are
Nice story. In certain scenes I didn't understand why Miki always says to others "I'm a man". If she is brave like other says, why she didn't say "I'm a woman"? It was because Japanese society doesn't understand or what? Someone can explain to me, please? I loved the other characters. I was surprised by Goto, he didn't understand at the beginning but later he also referred to Miki as a woman. I liked him also in the last episode. I loved how Miki's father defended her. I don't know if it was the translation, but they missgender her different times in one ep (2nd episode, I think). (This is a problem with the streaming site) I was watching the first two episodes on a site but later I couldn't enter again for no reason and I watched the others on another site with the worst audio ever. It's sad it was only 4 episodes but they were good.
Yeah, good question. If it is same age of Adachi, I think if he ever do it with someone. If it is like what he tells us Kurosawa, it seems like he ever didn't it with nobody but he doesn't have the power (?). These are only theories
Can someone tell me which tags in Tumblr for CM are active? The one I am in is not so active per se.
Yes, like @midnightsun said, #cherry magic is pretty active with gifs, theories, what actors said in interviews, etc. Also there was hate for Adachi too because of his behavior with Kurosawa in the last ep. Now it's all okay
I heard in the manga Adachi tells Kurosawa about his power to read thoughts by touching others. It seems like Kurosawa wasn't bothered about it. In the liveaction!Kurosawa would be pissed off? He would ask Adachi why he didn't tell him everything before? He knows his feelings, he acted like he gives him hopes but, at the same time, it looks disgusted or nervous?
Idk, I don't know how Kurosawa would behave in that situation.
Kurosawa couldn't take it anymore. He was jealous because of Fujisaki (you cannot be jealous with her) and Rokkaku (he doesn't learn from the dinner party, doesn't he?) interacting with Adachi.
G*d, that cliffhanger makes me mad. How can you end an episode with "Adachi, I love you"? Now it's really hard waiting for the next episode ?

Poor guy! There are people that critics him because he is still shy and gives mix signals to Kurosawa.
