No.
No. You need an immersion into the era of the hippies. I can't speak of your taste because you not liking his hair is subjective but I'll stuck to my taste and to the opinion of professionals who not only have a sense of aesthetics but have a clear understanding of the styles of this era.

Sorry, but could someone clear up the relationship between Krailert and Naran please? Are they both anonymous…
Naran is Sarasawadee and Krailert is Klai Rung so they were arguing back and forth through the newspaper under these pen's names not knowing who each other were at first until Klai Rung (Krailert) gives Sarasawadee (Naran) a "rendez-vous" and they meet at the library. Hope I helped.πŸ™

Please don't try to educate anybody because this is appalling. I've had such amazing professors and seeing you flaunting your ignorance and inability to understand something that is right in front of you is distasteful. Flaunting your diplomas, flaunting how much your paid, all of this screams narcissism and arrogance but nothing about it can hide the incompetence you've shown in your commentary here, maybe surely you need to go back and take classes again before trying to educate anyone.

Typical boc production. They thriving on their fans hyping their plotless series.
I think that between a miserable hater like yourself and people who can genuinely connect to the series because they have lived that era or who are looking at it without that childish and hateful behavior of yours we know who has an opinion worth to take in consideration. You're just being more and more pathetic and instead of obsessing over boc and trying to convince people that they're trash, camping under everything they do like a mad girl you may need to work on yourself, because hate made you mediocre and with that mediocrity of yours it's harder for you to be credible.

That's literally the storyline and as a film professor you should know that, who even hired you to teach anything when you can't even get the plot nor understand how the story and characters are introduced into that narration...if people like you are teaching young filmmakers the art of cinema is doomed my friend.

romance not being at the forefront of the story doesn't mean there's no plot. the plot is all of these characters…
It's a you problem when you couldn't tell where it was going from the first episode and obviously you couldn't but it's harder for you to admit that you failed to understand what most others did, as the film professor you are.

How much you rat friends pay you to stay stuck to your screen obsessing and hating on this company and its people? Are you in one of these small rooms with 10 others like you in charge of the hate comments or do you do this for free because you're that miserable ? It would be better for you to at least get paid to be as lame as you are camping around here like a soulless creature. Poor stacygirl.

Shine : A young professor coming back to his home country with the hope to bring impactful changes to society finds himself questioning his sexuality in a time where homosexuality is still a taboo.

AIM : BRINGING IMPORTANT CHANGES TO SOCIETY.

You have one of the main character writing in his own diary, he talks about the courage to stand up, the people struggling, this is the fcking plot right here and I simplified tge words just for you gretel.

Your friend hansel was watching it for the two hot guys or are you just too stupid to read his post. Oh stacy your hate and obsession is a real spectacle, you don't need to disguise as a clown, it's your identity.

Shine is too complicated for you is what you're saying, it's not bad story telling, it's a story telling that requires a bit more than just wanting to watch hot guys because that what you said yourself, all these characters and one of the hot guy having his bf 'disappearing' should also give you an idea of the plot in question bur I guess hot guys where more important to you than the details in the story. Don't blame the series and the plot for your incapacity to understand what's right in front of you and keep enjoying the hot guys, we like to do this too but we at least can appreciate all the connections between the characters and their struggles in that era and in the conflicts. It's also the 70s if you didn't get the info, Bangkok in 1969, it should have helped you in giving you an idea of where it's going.

You're the one who is getting emotional here just because you're not able to grasp the plot of the series. You keep bringing When Life Gives You Tangerine into this and you can't even tell that we've got a main character coming back to his country and wanting to change the system, who experienced something traumatic and who is going through a change, he's not a young girl who wants to be a writer in sexist times, he's a young professor who wants to help his country and is discovering his own sexuality in a time where conflicts and homophobia was at one of its peak. Here take it as your plot and don't call people out for being emitional when you can't even control yourself here.

You brought this up so one could assume that it matters to you. I think it's also very important to understand and to 'teach' that there should be no need to colonized a country in order to bring progress. You said it yourself by using the term 'invasions' because that's what it is and so it shall be understandable for a colonized or invaded country to blame an invader. I'll enjoy the series, hope you enjoy it too.

You are right πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
This wasn't the purpose of my answer to you really. I was honest when I say that you having experienced these years is welcomed and could really be interesting to explore and to hear about. I just think that it's necessary to also hear that many people who just like you have seen this era in front of their very eyes saw his hairstyle and him as a very accurate depiction of what they know and it doesn't mean your experience isn't validΓ© just that maybe the artists and hippies you saw were different. I'm pretty sure that there were differences between France, America, Thailand (here I only mention these three because of the series) or other parts of the world and even more from one person to another, if we leave hair texture aside as well. The issue here with the hairstyle critics is that most people just don't like it (I do love his hair) and they assume that it is weird and out of place for a the series, the era, and a hippie when it's not. I'll say it again, please don't stop sharing your own experience of life and especially such interesting times because we can disagree (sometimes it can be unpretty) but it is always interesting to learn about what others have seen with their own eyes. It leads to a curiosity, as to know why it can be different from here to there, it's something I personally like to learn about and I know I'm not the only one. After writing so much I hope you'll still share your opinions and I hope you can enjoy the show.

"Other series don't make me question what the story is about" here you go you have the answer, maybe that…
Girl you don't care about story, you're just a buffoon who lives miserably hating on everything they do like it's the only way for you to bteathe. Just look at you, here, camping, telling everybody to hate it too. You're a joke writing itself day after day, what's more useless than your purpose in life. You know you're messed up in the head don't you? Because you should care about that more.
