Ok... first of all I respect liu haocun of not doing the kissing scene but I'm also disappointed cause I read the novel because of them. Their chemistry is really there and it's going to be harder for the fans of the novel if it does not meet their expectations. But their acting is great...so it just fell short in that category cause there's a lot of intimate scenes from the novel.
Broo, this give me feelsss like, butterfly in my stomach feels. Even with their subtle touches and skinship waaaahhhh. And both give us fresh and blooming visuals. 🫠🫠🫠🫠 their chemistry is chemistrying hahahahaha
Pranking the boys, cause that scene supposed to be a date between jj, c-in and david. Since she wanted to know…
Well after that scene where the boys comes out and confront david about that nearly kissed, all of them joined jj's date and enjoy the carnival. Then the popular ferris wheel scene (idk if they really follow the book but) is where 5 of them: jj, keifer, yuri, david, and c-in ride in one cable cart even though its overload the boys don't want keifer to solo jj. Then when they reach to the top it suddenly stop and has a power out. So they are stuck and since its already late Aries called jj, in that call keifer try to prank aries that they are doing something dirty in the background, and the boys just laugh and supported his idea, then keifer grab jj's phone and ended the called and when jj try to reach it their cart move dangerously and they panicked then that's the scene where jj falls down on keifer and they almost kissed.
Is David trying to kiss jay or he's just pranking the boys ?'
Pranking the boys, cause that scene supposed to be a date between jj, c-in and david. Since she wanted to know about david's opinion about the pregnancy problem of their classmate, and when the boys found out, they followed them secretly 😏
bruh i was legit crying on seeing that seen 😭😭 how she transformed to other personality i feel bad for jayjay…
Well her family tree is really confusing but you can understand it if they show it on the series. So basically, Aries and Jayjay have the same mother, and Aries is 1yr older. But aries is adopted by his aunt - the one whose living with them right now.
Amm not really defending the author of this series, but yeah she wrote this book when she was a teenager (2016 prior - the book 3 is not even finished where the characters have not graduated in HS yet) so we can really see that some of the scenes are cringe, typical, and exaggerated. Also, she stated from her interview that she just wrote this just for fun and she did not expected this to be published and now to have a TV adaptation.
But the beauty of this (as a filipino and reader from the org series), it is really fun that's why I agree that you can enjoy it when you throw the logic out to the story. And most of the readers liked it since there is more to the story, that we can relate and enjoy (there is friendship, fl determination and fighting spirit - about her past traumas, experience, and all, the story of how the boys come together and their backgrounds, especially to Kiefer and Yuri who also have their own baggages).
Also, I agree that most of the cast need to up their game on acting, but most of them are just new to the industry so its kinda understandable. But really, we need more to their acting and their fighting scenes are lacking, I expected more cause this series has a lot of action scenes.
I thought this series gonna be flop like other filipino wattpad adapted on tv, but I can see how the director and the script writers are trying their best to stay true to the series and try to reach the expectations of the readers. That's why its amazing for me, where it reaches to international audience. And yeah, some scences are bad, and some are not understandable, questionable, and cringe, yet it really grow on you. So, thank you for giving this series a chance, and I hope the cast and the crew will not disappoint us to the end.
