Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
Now the stills are released and based on it, here are my thoughts.

The title itself, 'Memory Recall' told that Oh-aew would probably help Teh with acting by going through their memories when they first got together. Because it was shown that Teh was casted by Jai to play a character.
Next, Oh-aew making time for Teh because he knows that he's busy by helping Jai with his poster because he's an advertising major now that's why it was shown that Oh-aew helps Teh or he is with Teh most of the time.

Now the only conflict I see is about them being in two completely different worlds, with two drastically different environments. Given that IPYTM tackled realistic relationship issues on the previous episodes, I feel like they would also go into something hyperrealistic for the main conflict in the climax. I actually cannot think of possible events next episode, my mind is blank and I can't form theories yet but I am sure that they're gonna start building the heat for the next 2 episodes so expect the unexpected. With that said, I still highly doubt that cheating would be part of the problem, I still don't see anyone cheating but who knows? We'll find out tomorrow.

Is it really that good? I've started watching some time ago, but all I could see was two boys crying over each…
It probably depend on your preference. This series might not be for all viewers, and I've read lots of comments why they dropped/didn't like it the way I did but for me, it's one of the best I've watched.
On I Promised You the Moon Jun 6, 2021
Most of the possible conflicts in the trailer had been shown so I am curious what could be the main conflict for the climax. Buckle your seats everybody because we still have a long way to go and honestly, I do expect more drama and conflicts rooting from the character's wrong behavior. It's a coming-of-age after all, it should discuss the consequences of our actions and character development. I love how hyperrealistic this is and how they do not portray a polished version of reality. Characters are not perfect, might be 'selfish' for some, but there is always room for improvement and development. That's what this series is trying to show.

How do you know how old commenters are?
I kinda agree that I feel like the word toxic might’ve been misused. About the reasons, mostly they’re pertaining to the characters’ behaviors. How Teh behaved in EP4 with the way he treated Oh Aew and handled the situation, also included is the recent IPYTM EP2. I also remember reading how some viewers saw Oh Aew as ungrateful and demanding. And I completely disagree. Having to go through those same experiences, I understand how hard it is and it’s also important to get the characters’ perspective because each individual had a reason why they acted the way they did.

Those are just some of the reasons I’ve read as to why they found it “toxic” , young viewers or not, this is their reason in general. But I also remember people disliking some aspects of the production like the acting and pacing.

Ill reserve and maybe edit this comment after i watch the whole series. I am a gay guy in my 40s. I liked ITSAY…
Yeah. I remember I read a comment before saying that certain themes on ITSAY wasn’t for them maybe because they are adults but they don’t hate it.

As a teenager, I do love the storyline of both parts. One of the best out there.

How do you know how old commenters are?
I’ve read comments from time to time on social media and review sites and some specify their age where they say that maybe ITSAY isn’t for them because they’re on the older side and they find it a bit childish. Some says it was toxic. While my friends who are teenagers said that IPYTM wasn’t as impactful as ITSAY while adult ones (21+) said that they liked IPYTM’s storyline better.

And this is still the minority. Most of the viewers, no matter their age, still loved both series. I was just curious what could possibly the reasons why certain age groups found one part better and it turns out that relatability plays a part.

As one of the younger audience who is gay, I completely loved the story of both parts. I still consider this as one of the best.
On I Promised You the Moon Jun 4, 2021
Not all watchers may like this, and relatability plays a big part in how viewers perceive this show. I watched and read comments about it and I noticed that majority of those who do not like ITSAY are on the older side or adults saying that it was childing or toxic. While in IPYTM some say that it wasn't as impactful and those words came from younger audiences while adult viewers find it amazing as they felt like the story is depicting their reality. So I feel like the show's impact on you would probably depend on how relatable it is to your personal life experiences. But one thing is for sure, they are both realistic. And I would understand if some viewers do not find this amusing as I did. We all have different preferences but always remember that respectfully stating your opinion is different from attacking or degrading any of the persons involved here.

I'm just sharing my thoughts as to why people are making comparisons and the hate that I've been seeing on Twitter.

We thought Oh Aew was the only one who needed to adjust, but Teh also needed it because he was still not used to drastic changes that life can bring due to uncertain circumstances of life. He was overwhelmed because it’s not what he had in mind.

Absolutely loved EP2 and I’ll tell you why.

Being in an asian family, your parents always had a say on your career and knowing that they weren’t able to finish college due to financial reasons, I also wanted to make their dream come true. But at the same time, I know that they will be hurt if I said that it’s not what I actually want. And that’s what Oh Aew went through.

In my perspective, Oh-aew didn’t give up just because he received those comments or because he didn’t get in the first casting. He didn’t quit because it was hard. I FEEL like he transferred because it wasn’t what he actually wanted from the beginning. Going back to EP1 of ITSAY, they were in great rivalry, wanting to prove themselves to each other is what made them pursue communication arts. I think that was the only reason why Oh Aew chose acting, he wanted to prove to Teh that he would not fail like he told him. Now, Oh Aew slowly discovered that this is not what he actually liked doing for the rest of his life. And I think his reason was clearly valid and reasonable, because I did the same. And I am glad that they came into terms with that.

Now with Teh, firstly I do not tolerate Teh slander because you need to understand his character first. He gets easily overwhelmed when presented in a tricky situation where he tends to internally panic and leads to consequences of misunderstanding. But most importantly, he does know how to apologize and own his wrongdoings. And Teh is NOT selfish. Well... at some point I think he kinda did look like selfish but thinking about it, there was a big reason why. Events not going according to your plan is frustrating and painful especially if you envisioned yourself to be up there together with your loved one. He was shocked and hurt but he eventually came around with Oh.

Now with Khim. Having a role model in your career is something we always enjoy, that’s what gives us the strength to continue. And Teh seeing his own role model drifting away, it will hurt him and he specified the reason why in the end. He felt alone in the battle because everyone he expected to be with him already changed paths. And that is completely valid to feel.

When looking at these characters, you need to understand that they are still young, adjusting to uncertain realities that they will encounter in the real world. Adult world is overwhelming for someone like them and THIS IS THE POINT OF THE STORY - for them to adjust to their environment and understand people around them. That’s why I loved how they portrayed the story during EP2. No one was unreasonable, no one was selfish. They were just having a hard time to adjust because this is not what they expected, events turned around due to realistic uncertain circumstances. And that’s part of them growing as individuals.

Obv some people would still say that one character is unreasonable, one character is selfish etc. but you also need to understand that they are still growing and adjusting to a new environment. They are overwhelmed with unexpected events but they do have a reason on what they do or how they react. They’re still learning. Understanding, or going through, each character’s perspective would be able to explain and give a broader sense as to why they did the things that they did.

My goodness. We made it though 1/2 a first semester at uni and there isn't a campus moon competition, hazing,…
Yeah, a lot of ppl were surprised when they revealed that they changed directors but based on the documentary, they had reasons why they wanted P'Meen to direct and I remember one of the reason was that P'Meen came from a province outside Bangkok so they suggested that he would direct because they think that he can capture and portray the scenarios better based on his personal experience.

Oh-aew doesn't want to be a burden to Teh because he knows that Teh is always busy with club activities so he somehow distanced himself, which can lead into Teh thinking that Oh-aew might be pushing him away.

I haven't seen one yet but I know someone's gonna say in the future that the conflict/plotline the team decided to portray was kinda weak and I beg to disagree.

Actually, it's perfect for them. This is a coming-of-age drama after all and the point of the show was to see how two young boys develop their relationship through different life circumstances - from teens to busy adults. The plot itself is REALISTIC and RELATABLE, especially for those going through the same things. They were able to depict real-life adulting problems experienced, not only by couples, but as an individual in the outside world.

I loved the shift of atmosphere from the countryside vibe of Phuket to the nostalgic feeling that Bangkok gives. THIS IS A STRONG START and I am loving every character. The contrast between Teh and Oh's friend groups would probably affect the character's perspective and add to the dynamics of the series. I love the new OSTs and Musical Scores, I cannot wait to download them.

THIS IS A GREAT START

Unfortunately, there are no ENG Subs on LineTV which is the only free official streaming platform for IPYTM and I know that not all watchers can afford to rent on Vimeo so a little reminder that if you are going to watch on unofficial/illegal sites, also take time to watch it on LineTV just for the views there. At least, you can still somehow support them.

Some people are disappointed they didn't cry a lot like others. Well.. I'm sure the show's purpose isn't crying…
Yeah, I am one of those. I saw this on twitter and ppl were saying they cried a ton so I gave it a try but came out surprised because I didn't shed much tear however, that's not the point of the show.

This deserves its recognition because this is the first time I encountered this kind of plot and each episode has its own story and lesson to share that touched me.

PS. Geu-ru's uncle is kinda HAWT

Does anyone knows how they get the fanding to this series? there is a huge difference budget from others Thai…
Probably because their sponsors are big companies like Lays, Oppo, etc. And Nadao Bangkok is quite known and big in Thailand.

Guys please somebody tell me if there will be a part 3 after this. I don't know if my heart can take this much…
Even before Part 1 started, BKPP Project is planned to only have 2 parts so they confirmed it from the start that there's no part 3.
