I can't believe some of the comments here some of you are acting as if the female was teenager, FSF should act…
It makes more sense for a powerful general to be older rather than my youthful 18 year old son 😜. If you look at Korean dramas - I am thinking of Arthdal Chronicles, the main actor is 51 and he is very charismatic. Older actors have some sort of gravitas too. Of course if the drama is about the Gods or fairies with magical powers, maybe you can use a hunky man. Also bear in mind some producer prefer older men aka the search for next James Bond. Might be getting a bit out of topic but trying to say try not to be ageist :)

Wow! That’s crazy! Admittedly I didn’t finish the drama but it wasn’t because of their bad acting. I m not sure why Yang Yang is getting hate because the Chinese crowd like him in the drama with Lusi n with Dilireba (forgot drama names). As for Wang Chu Ran, I think her acting is good enough, she is no Gong Li but I don’t think this drama require an A lister.
Kim Tae Ri is such a chameleon and she seems to challenge herself a lot! Considering she won the baeksang last year she could have chosen an easy role in her next drama! She is amazing n the rest of the cast were great as well!
