You just gave me a spoiler about the conversation between him and his mom that probably happened in upcoming episodes (I'm not complaining about the spoiler tho).

He visited his mom once .. and they didn't had this type of conversation there. She was just talking about how CC will get girls easily but WSW wouldn't bcz she thinks her son is nothing in front of CC.

Idk what you're talking about. There was no hospital scene. It was a cut between WSW's mom losing balance in front of CC and then them coming at home with medicines.

I'm saying CC helped him once bcz i only saw it once or maybe Twice.

Once was when he went to his house and he saw his mother in bad health condition so he rushed to hospital with her.

But idk if that's helping WSW or not cz he never told him that his mom's condition is deteriorating. He should give him a heads up atleast. So WSW can come up with a better health plan for his mother now that he's earning alot.

And he also helped him when he killed the snke but was it really a help. That's hard to say.

Damn it, I can't believe how both of us have totally different ways of seeing things. I only interpreted it in a bad way and you only interpreted it in a good way. That's interesting and so funny to read when I compare it with my own remarks. 😂

I was watching ADDICTED but it never aired completely. It got banned halfway through bcz of homophobic CHINESE government.

I never got to watch it completely. So, if you're watching it .. be prepared cz you will never get to see the ending.

Though I have a recommendation for you. I watched a series called "STAY WITH ME" and it's the similar storyline as of ADDICTED. Two step-brothers who grew close despite having difference in their families and habits. So close that they ditched their own families and started living together at some point. Walking through eachother's thick and thin.

Though the makers promoted it as a BROMANCE but believe me it's 100% BL (you will get to know when you watch it). It's one of the most beautiful story I've ever watched and I've never forgotten to this day.

But I'm warning you cz IT'S NOT A HAPPY ENDING again.
I'm still so traumatized to this day bcz of the way it ended. The ending simply pointed towards it's continuation in a new season. But it's been 2 years and we never got to know whether if we're getting S2 or not. People keep saying that the S2 has been cancelled and I'm not so happy about it.

But if you want to watch it .. you can .. if you have the guts to bear sad endings.

It's one of my favourite Chinese BL series. I've even said it in my profile.
It's "ADDICTED" but straight-washed STILL a BL.

I mean .. I'm also kind of enjoying it .. cz the story says they "LOVE" eachother somehow. So I've to believe that. But it's not the best Chinese BL.
I'm more interested in the second couple tho.

Act of service ? CC acts like he has hired a gigølo or some. Getting him everything out of his own pocket and then using him cz he's needy. It looks nothing less than that. (WSW also accepts everything from him without any hesitation and that's what makes it even more weird. I can't believe in just span of 6 months he managed to take control of CC in this way that now he manages CC's expenses. He's no less than a gold digger to me just like Yue Yue.)

Don't forget, CC was also the one who was thinking for a very long time as he should kill the snke on WSW neck or not as he was so infatuated with what his ex gave him that he almost refused to save a person dying from it.

You can go fantasize your CC×WSW in your dreams .. don't come at me if I'm not fantasizing them.

Edit - I'm just half way through this show and this show is so flawed that it makes me rethink my decision of watching it. I seriously don't understand the hype around this show. I still have like 10 episodes to watch. I'm watching it since like 5 days.

That's absolutely what i wanted to say.

There are so many reasons as to why I can't see them as a normal couple.

First of all, their relationship is based on lies and the way WSW is terrified to tell CC the truth and finds ways to stall time with him is literally not acceptable.
Once CC knows about what WSW actually plotted first i guess his heart will break again. He already starts shaking when someone takes name of his first cheater lover.
You can't go on deceiving a person who you're deeply in love with. This is disastrous.

Second, CC acts like he's the only one who has a say in their relationship. This is so toxic. He went to such diabolical lengths as to threaten JXS just to sleep with WSW.
He couldn't wait for WSW to finally accept what he is and then give into him. He's just so impatient and unwantedly dominant.
At first you might enjoy having CC as a bf but after sometime you will start fighting cz one wants what they want and they will get it no matter what bcz they're dominant and other doesn't want it but they have no option cz they're recessive and get taken by force.

So many things are off putting, that I can't just put into words.

The relationship of first couple is just so weird.

Jiang Xiao Shuai telling Guo Cheng Yu that he can't be with Chi Cheng because "A TOP CAN'T BE WITH A TOP" is the most funniest $hit I've ever heard in my entire life.

Tbh, Sometimes while watching this I just want to drown myself and die because of all the embarrassment coming through this. I pause and take a walk around my room to brace myself.

Seems like WSW is in charge of all the cringe and dumbassary and on the other hand CC is in charge of all the lu$t in this series. 💀
I feel so sick sometimes even though I love them. They never act like a normal couple.

But I think he did go to college. Considering he was an office worker he must have shown some qualification there to get in. Nobody takes school graduation certificate as a qualification.

No matter what math I use I just can't get to the result where WSW is that young. I can believe that he's maybe 2 or 3 years younger than him but he's almost 8 years younger. 💀
