I'm 2 episodes into special edition. It's the same but a summary i would say. It's actually very nice revisiting it because I feel like it's making me understand some things even better and catch up on things that i have missed in the original one. Have they rearranged something in SE or it's totally the same ??
I was thinking about WWX and Kids and i realized that these kids really loved being with WWX especially that one kid "Ouyang Zi Zhen". He's totally whipped for WWX.
In last episode, after everything settled down in Guanyin temple Zi Zhen was the first one who came running asking for WWX. Lol, I cried from happiness. He also fought and shut his dad with total facts when they were criticizing WWX.
Even Jin Ling admires WWX. He just played tough around him just like his uncle Jiang Cheng. When he stabbed him after finding out that he's WWX .. i could see he didn't go all in rupturing his insides so that he d*es on the spot. I'm sure, he refused to believe that WWX can do something like this. Otherwise why would you be lenient on a person who took lives of your parents ?? (Tbh, WWX did deserve that stab from Jing Ling. Even though he didn't k*ll them still he's a part of the reason why his parents are not in the world anymore 😒)
Jing Yi and Sizhui are really WWX's kids lol. They never went against him. I loved how they came forward forming a protection shield for WWX alongside Hanguang Jun when they thought Jin Ling was about to do something to WWX. It was funny. 😂
Imagine if everything was normal. I'm sure, WWX would've been the most favourite uncle of Jin Ling. He would've taught Jing Yi and Sizhui "How Lan Clan rules simply don't make sense at all". All of them would be hanging out together with WWX and wouldn't come back home for days while having fun and learning cultivation from him.

Tbh, his eyes did all the speaking. You can see love, anxiousness, guilty, sadness, yearning, etc just from the way his eyes act. One look at his eyes and you know what he feels inside. That's what the character "Lan Wang Ji" is all about. You're supposed to search for his feelings from his eyes. His eyes speak louder than words ever can.
Wang Yi-bi did exceptionally good job as a rookie actor portraying it. Only Wei Wu Xian is fool enough to not get those eyes otherwise everyone else did.

WWX sure isn't the type who will sit back at home all day long. LWJ can do that reading 3000+ Gusu Lan principles without getting bored at all.
