Theres a rumor about He Chang Xi and his role in other chinese drama got censored, they even had his face changed with AI. Chinese govt is really strict about BLs and some people just hate anything to do with gay people. Hopefully he gets more roles after this drama finishes airing 🙏

I know like this drama isn't necessarily an extension of the novel so i treat them differently, however, in the novel, the parallel "Ogami" came to the real world somehow and the real Ogami saw him talking to Akihito/Kano but he had no idea it was "him". Thats the detail missing in the last ep. I think Akihito did travel to a different world, like physically. Thats how Ogami could hear him talking to a guy, the " Ogami" from the parallel world somehow crossed over into the real world for a brief moment. Hope it makes sense.

Also like Kataoka is a yakuza, a morally grey character. So, he behaves a bit differently from us civilians. But it is as you said, i think Odajima didn't mind it, Kataoka's brother treats him worse.

Watched this to lighten myself up a bit after watching Eternal Yesterday. Its really good, esp the opening of each episode, i never skipped it! Definitely one of my favorite dramas from this year.

Last ep was too rushed 😭 but i did enjoy it. They included almost everything in the novel, but the last ep was too short its like they were trying to meet the deadline or something, so it felt kinda forced. Yeah, they left out a few details from the novel, but imo ep 1 - 5 were good.

Okay i like both jealous and baffled Ogami lol. I like the character development as well. Its nice seeing everyone at the office finally warming up to Akihito. Honestly idk how i can patiently wait for next week's episode. Sigh, send help lol

From what i understand by reading the novel, i don't think the parallel Ogami is taking advantage of Akihito. It's basically a world that branched out because Akihito asked for Ogami's help after that 'incident' we were shown in ep 1 and so Ogami took him under his wings and they became a pair.
