I don't hate Yake yet but betraying the female lead was so wrong 💔😔
I also don't get why Yake and Yu didn't just speak to Ting Yun? Ting Yun didn't even throw Yu a glance, she's interested in marriage but not in the man. I'm sure if Yake and Yu spoke to her, she might have relented instead of doing her dirty like that. Sp unfair.
Look. I love female-centric dramas like The Story of Ming Lan, A Dream of Splendor, Lost You Forever, etc., which…
I know you're itching to ride a dick but if ML isn't needed in the scene, do you want him to just hang around or something? Like do you want the writers to put up his picture or so?
I've been reading the novel and the drama has been very generous with ML's scenes, because in the novel, their first meeting was when she arrived at the nunnery.
Anyway, don't watch it if you don't like it, the time you spent watching this won't even pay the leads a penny.
Is the Pediatrics in Anxing mainly outpatient services? Because the doctors can afford to clock-out by evening and even go drinking with their department head like they have no shift to cover. No night-shift and emergency duties? How nice.
Just started this and I'm sharing ML's sentiment at episode 1, "I don't get the hostility". Like sure she thought he stole a fucking goat, but to be that awful? At least be professional, as a doctor, that's your oath.
Just curious about the VR thing, because its a good plot device but kinda hard to suspend my disbelief. Like in ep 1, we were introduced that Roncheng is just VR, but remember that episode where Xiu sneaked in because she learned Pei also entered the game? She went backstage with no VR glasses on so...Rongcheng's set is real? Also, they read their characters through a mini booklet, but if they have VR glasses on, those character info and missions should have been flashed on the glasses instead. I wished they showed more of what they saw through VR because if they were wearing VR glasses, that kiss would have hurt haha
Finally done! Giving this 8/10. I love both leads so it was an easy watch even though this is my first CXX drama. I wish there were more scenes from the murder mystery game, because its more exciting than the architecture stuff. The MC have an amazing chemistry. The 2nd couple's story strike me as odd, their story was like an after-thought. ML's mom was just frustrating, she was too busy wallowing in her pain she had forgotten she has a son. Glad they didn't stretch out the dad connection drama. Overall, feel good drama.
Ep 16 - girl, there are plenty of fish around, why take a married man?! UGH
When Xiu and Pei inspected the construction site, she judged Pei for wearing a suit yet they allowed her to go around the site with a fucking scarf, like?!
On ep 14, so refreshing to see a hint of a 5 o'clock shadow on Zhi Yu while Xiu is icing his nose. I haven't seen many modern C-dramas, but nice to see the MLs looking more normal than those in costume C-dramas white, pasty faces.
If I'm pleased with Zhi Yu's naturalness, kinda annoyed with how they styled Zhao. Stop pushing JP fashion to Zhao, it doesn't fit her and it's so unnatural to see her wear jeans over a dress or long sleeves underneath a dress, it just doesn't work on her body type.
Finally done! Someone compared this to TMPB so I watched this and I think TMPB is better. However, can't deny the main couple to have sizzling chemistry, Xingzhi is very god-like in his manner and stature. Shen Li is uber pretty but there are moments where her face is just frozen as if she's in a trance. The last ep is like a filler, lmao.
The novel is very different than the drama from their first meeting and how he rescued her etc

On ep 8, they were concner about soft soil there are fucking windmills behind? Haha. And how fast he drove, he caught up with them? 😂😭
