After 2 episodes, I'll definitely continue watching this. I hate the politics-side, I have this strong urge to skip the Queen Mother scenes, but I'm holding strong so far. I feel bad for His Majesty, he is a just a kid! I like IU here, her character kinda reminds of JJH's Cheon Seong-Yi, who is very unapologetic, the only difference is that IU's chara is also book-smart. But yeah, I love Hui Ju's spunk and pizzazz, and I hope she stays that way for a very long time. I hate it when a strong character becomes weepy in the presence of a man. Leave that weepy to the ML for a change. Yi-An is so-so, like I get where his loneliness stems from, but I'm really more interested with HuiJu. I've seen criticisms of his acting, but there's really not much to work on with a character like that. Maybe he'll have more "human" scenes in the next episodes. Also, it's not the actors fault, but when they panned the camera at him with slow-mo, a dreamier filter, and sharp takes on his best angles, that trend has to stop. It's just becoming cringe.
His fans have problem with judging his ( non existent) acting after 1 ep but have no problem with rating this…
Fans like those are the reason why I skipped a lot of dramas, if the comments are 99% about visuals, I'll never watch it no matter how much people rave about it.
I'm a sucker for monarchy-esque dramas so I'll be catching the first 2 eps...I really want to like this 🫶 Alaso, based on the trailer, FL is pursuing ML? Sign me up!
For a revenge drama, the ending was so satisfying. Dong-eun was so unapologetic and I like that, she stayed true to her revenge, none of those she turned soft because of love, or because of Ye-sol's, she really pushed on and that was the best thing about this. She kept her eye on the prize, come what may. As for ML, it was too short and too fast, they should have done a different season for that.
I love JJH so even with a recycled gumiho plot, I will watch this 🥹 pls make this really good, JJH's MLFAS is my fave drama of hers, but that pedo is in it, so its hard to watch.
I felt like the ending was quite anticlimactic compared to the fast-paced beginning and high tension middle. Nevertheless, I love this drama! It didn't falter and plot twist over plot twist. Wort h bingeing. Love FL, she's such a breath of fresh air esp her face, none of those overly white skin Chinese prefers. She's so natural with her acting too. More of this kind of drama, hopefully.
I know it’s a time-loop drama, but the way the leads handle things is honestly frustrating. They keep repeating…
The female lead has looped more than 10 times and still seems clumsy --- in her defense, she's operating on a very short time from the time she woke up to the explosion. I can forgive her clumsiness since there's no guidebook on what to do when stuck in a time loop
It's something new. Have seen helping ghosts out many times before.
I think I don't like it because of the lack of "rule", In "Masters Sun", ghosts can possess FL at her weakest (asleep/drunk) and the writers cleverly use that so FL and ML got closer because ghosts naturally disperse around ML. In this drams and so far, ghosts can freely possess him regardless of his state of mind and that just sounds so wrong. I think I'm just looking for that sort of "rule". Out of the topic, but the mom here and the aunt in Masters Sun are the same actress 😆
Maybe the backstory will be revealed soon. It IS a little confusing to follow, honestly, but still good to watch.
It is confusing esp they just dropped in character names left and right and we have no idea who they are because of the huge time jump after Sung Ah and Tae Seop got married.
I won't dropped this yet, love to see mature actors, because they can really act. Love the dark hue, good for my migraine. But its hard to sympathize with their story because there's not much background as we're suddenly thrust into this web of lies and deceit so who are we even cheering on?
Now on ep 2 and I know this is fiction, but lmao when they bugged Sung-Ah's phone and for some reason even her husband could listen on it all the way at the Prosecutors office is just 😆 that kind of range is just whacked...I can't take it seriously
I started this drama out of curiosity, and I really don't like the possessed aspect. Helping ghosts is fine, but possessing just ticks me off. Dropping.
Love, love, love this drama! The girls all had a happy ending and they didn't push the love angle! Kudos to the writers. Queen Bee remained a QB up to the wnd, her slush fund business is so funny. PSY is so good in this, she should do more badass femme fatale role, she had grown so much as an actress that she doesn't really need a love interest to thrive.
