That Kang Hanna should be on the first line of fire where a missile would hit. I don't get her hate when she chose to be a hidden mistress when, as Munju said, she would have granted divorced if he asked for it
First of all, why are you making this about religion? Don't you know Christianity is one of the fasted growing…
Don't you know Christianity is one of the fasted growing religion in s.korea? --- The one in drama is actually Catholicism.
Christians(Born Again, Prostetants, and the like ) mostly don't believe in Catholic saints, they also don't do the sign of the cross except for Orthodox Christians.
And as a Catholic, I'm not offended at all, lmao, I don't know what's your beef at all. Catholic is an old religion, believe me, we're so chill nowadays, they can even have a cardinal as the killer and we won't bat an eyelash.
There's a possibility 😉 of second season 😁 you know Disney Korea is cooking please keep watching to increase…
kinda expecting this too since 9 episodes is too short, but then again, its KDW. He has been out of dramaland for so long and one of the reason he left before was he didn't like long filming months, so lets see if its short to accomodate him or there's S2
About the husband… I believe we will find out later that, for some reason or another, they had a marriage of…
If this was real life she wouldn’t hardly be able to function after the unexpected loss of her husband --- never heard of Jackie Kennedy and Cory Aquino? They definitely had it together after their husbands were assassinated, one of them even became a president in the aftermath. People grieve differently.
Is it only me....I mean...1. everything is coming out so easily and the bad guys are coming out on their own2.…
1. There are only 9 episodes so expect this to be fast-paced, they don't have time for fillers 2. The president said so herself, Munju was sacked because they don't need her kindness. The way I see it, she's overly diplomatic and kinda apolitical, which somehow makes sense because she didn't grow up in Korea so the KR political landscape is kinda lost on her. She just doesn't have what it takes to be a traitor or be a spy, hello, she even went to her BIL alone knowing he has a hand in killing her husband
Finally my Favourite Actress is back on screen. I'm SAD that now she is looking like she has Aged. It clearly…
Why do people talk about aging as if its a terminal disease? Would you rather die young instead of dying "aged"? PLS. I'm pretty sure JJH still looks younger than you.
First ep was too slow and too short for my taste, there's no gripping moment for me to continue except my love for the two leads, BUT they managed up the ante on the 2nd ep. The moment Munju went to her MIL, I was like, oh yeah, this is the badass JJH I'm looking for. She always slay bitchy roles and so far, I'm glad she hasn't transformed to the typical Candy roles that turned mushy once a man is on sight. Love the 3rd ep, too! The only part of the plot I'm still not sold is the incoming possible war and how her presidency might put a halt to it.
I'm only on episode 3 and this is the 3rd drama I've watched that of Jin Ki Joo and let me just say, this is the first time I really felt the chemistry between her and her ML. Hoping not to get burnout.
WHAT A COMEBACK - So Happy for JU JI HOON! 💖I first saw him in Goong (Princess Hours) which though released…
He has always been a versatile actor, one of his earliest movies, "Antique Bakery", really showed his acting chops and an image a far cry of his "Goong" fame. His drug use was something he admitted and paid for, not really shameful imo, but of course Korea is tough on drugs but lenient on sexual abuse, lol.
The journey to the ending is just painful...painfully bad. When she went to that fictitious country and found his absentee husband was an undercover rebel, my suspension of disbelief just couldn't take it. It was such a wtf moment. The best part of the ending was Hee-Joo reconciling with her family. Other than that, this is your typical K-drama that started strong but couldn't sustain it.
