Finally my Favourite Actress is back on screen. I'm SAD that now she is looking like she has Aged. It clearly…
Why do people talk about aging as if its a terminal disease? Would you rather die young instead of dying "aged"? PLS. I'm pretty sure JJH still looks younger than you.
First ep was too slow and too short for my taste, there's no gripping moment for me to continue except my love for the two leads, BUT they managed up the ante on the 2nd ep. The moment Munju went to her MIL, I was like, oh yeah, this is the badass JJH I'm looking for. She always slay bitchy roles and so far, I'm glad she hasn't transformed to the typical Candy roles that turned mushy once a man is on sight. Love the 3rd ep, too! The only part of the plot I'm still not sold is the incoming possible war and how her presidency might put a halt to it.
I'm only on episode 3 and this is the 3rd drama I've watched that of Jin Ki Joo and let me just say, this is the first time I really felt the chemistry between her and her ML. Hoping not to get burnout.
WHAT A COMEBACK - So Happy for JU JI HOON! 💖I first saw him in Goong (Princess Hours) which though released…
He has always been a versatile actor, one of his earliest movies, "Antique Bakery", really showed his acting chops and an image a far cry of his "Goong" fame. His drug use was something he admitted and paid for, not really shameful imo, but of course Korea is tough on drugs but lenient on sexual abuse, lol.
The journey to the ending is just painful...painfully bad. When she went to that fictitious country and found his absentee husband was an undercover rebel, my suspension of disbelief just couldn't take it. It was such a wtf moment. The best part of the ending was Hee-Joo reconciling with her family. Other than that, this is your typical K-drama that started strong but couldn't sustain it.
I don't believe this so-called friend, but seeing how her plump cheeks went from peaches to prunes, she was definitely put in a difficult position that was hard to let go of.
Just finished Ep 4 and liking it so far. I never really liked the actor, but I like Chae Soo Bin. I still don't like ML, like sure, he'd always been pining for her, but he treated her so coldly in their 3 years of marriage. I don't care what his past is, she had it tough as well. He might think he might saved her from marrying another man, but being cold to her didn't save her either. Also, he never learn sign language?! Like that's the bare minimum he could do for someone he supposedly loves.
2 episodes so far and liking it ✨️ PSH is so different from her usual characters and she rocks it! She went from being a nun to a demon, haha. Looking forward to more episodes! Not really keen on romance aspect.
Am I the only who thinks that JWS should be the bigger headline because he hasn't done a drama in like two decades or so? Either the script is good or the pay if extra good if the producers were able to entice JWS. And can this drama air other than Disney+? I don't want Disney to have the right to legally murder me since my fam is planning to go to Disneyworld next summer.
just rewatched this for the first time after a very long time and even though I liked it then, I liked it more now. Aside from huge doses of humor, I really like the side characters (except for the serial killer ofc) who provided most of that humor.
I love this drama despite the plot holes and I think the writing staff missed the chance of using some of the convenient plot devices to fill those holes. I never read the manhwa so I don't know how much they changed so I just want to leave my thoughts here because it's getting too noisy in my head. -Why did Seon-Jae committed suicide twice? I can accept the first one, but not the second one. I even assume that he was killed, by his manager or agency's president since he wanted to retire. And lets get real, his agency prez looked like a shady character. - When Sol asked her mom who saved her during her 'accident' (first few ep before Seon-Jae's first suicide), her mom didn't want to talk about it. Missed opportunity for writers that Seon-Jae only became an idol to help with Sol's medical bills. That electic wheelchair is effin expensive. -How and why did Sol still owned that pocket watch? The only reason she used to own one was to placed it inside the time capsule, so after the last reset when she and Seon-jae practically are strangers, why did she buy and own the same pocket watch? - I'm so frustrated with the bad taxi driver. Can't we have a bit of motive for his killing/butchering spree? I know some people are just psychos but his obsession to Sol is just too much. I didn't even like he just died like that, it's too easy and just added another level of frustration. - After the last reset and fast forward to the future, Sol and Tae-sung were still good friends and Tae-sung still calls her the ex-girlfriend? So does that mean that even though Sol never met Seon-Jae during their high school years, she still confessed to Tae-Sung and they still became an item? Because I figured when Sol returned to the first time he and Seon-Jae met (yellow umbrella and package scene), and she chose never to meet him, that meant that the Sol there had knowledge of the past Sol's, which meant that her feelings for Tae-sung were never there because she wasn't that girl who had a huge crush at Tae-sung so how did they still end-up friends? - Some of the timelines also overlap. Like there were 3 Sol's that went back to the past and Sol #2 was the one who gave his brother the lucky lottery numbers, and Sol #3 (the one who's not a Seon-jae fan because they never 'met') was the one living with her big bro and bestie sis-in-law when he won the lottery. How did he retain the memory from Sol #2? Haha Anyway, despite the plot holes, the drama is cute. The premise is good and would leave you hanging. And as always, I'm a sucker for plots where the ML falls first.
