is this worth watching, just by reading that it's about entering webtoon seems stupid 😅
Worth watching even for the first 75% of the series and you can ff the rest. This drama started the trend of all the succeeding webtoon series where one of the protagonist is not really a mortal but a character in the webtoon. One of the major difference is that they chose mature actors for "W" so acting is better, but the writer got lost on what to do toward the end.
I haven't seen S2, but based on experience, people tend to like more the FIRST ONE they've seen, especially if…
Finishing a drama in one day is my yardstick if its a good drama. I've watched a gazillion of dramas that nowadays, if the first two episodes sucks for me, I would just drop it. So more than "ability to finish a drama", if you've consumed a lot of content, you're probably starting to get burnout.
4 episodes so far and I can say that I'm still watching this bc Kim So Hyun is a terrific actress and she's giving me Son Ye-Jin vibes💕 her acting aside, Mok Hee and Do Ha's chemistry remain on comforting level, the type that's cool to watch but not something I'm cheering hard for. Haha. She has more tension with her ex, even Syaon and Kang Min got me more interested. As for Do Ha, he remains easy to the eyes, but I'm not that invested with his backstory, nor am I invested with his present, I can't even sympathize with his panic attacks. But anyway, drama remains cute IMO and looking forward to next episodes.
I'm surprised people haven't finished the first episode and say s2 is a weak season
I haven't seen S2, but based on experience, people tend to like more the FIRST ONE they've seen, especially if it really resonated with them. I don't know if you've seen the drama "MISSING", but I've seen the 2nd season before I watched the 1st season and I still prefer the 2nd season over the 1st one. The same case with Taxi Driver, I prefer the first one. So I guess, it needs a lot of getting used to, before the audience can start learning to appreciate the new season
Just saw the first 2 episodes, it was okay, didn't think that accounting is such a cut-throat world, and I'll give it another week. I just want to comment on some carelessness of writers, like, they gave each project a code name for confidentiality reasons, yet they allow a random guy (I mean, a guy outside of the project) to do photocopies of their documents, set-up their meetings, receive faxes on their behalf, and even shred documents for them. Not so confidential is it? 😁 Moreover, accounting terms were thrust right off the bat that if ever Taeil would go down, I would still be clueless how he was able to bring them down. I'm not an accountant and I hate numbers, and the writers didn't even bother presenting it to us in a way that we could simply understand
Wow chill, folks. Why some of the commenters here think that Dr. Cha will stay with his cheating husband instead…
In marriage, there are so much feelings and consideration involve once you find your spouse cheating --- lets not forget this is Korea, divorce might be legal, but women who divorced their husbands (no matter what the reason is) were sometimes ostracized by the society. It's also the reason why finding love after divorced is hard, because most men would see them as "discarded goods" and most in-laws wouldn't want a divorcee daughter-in-law, especially if they also have excess baggage (read:kids). It's already a harsh world for a woman, but more so if you're a divorcee
This drama tells how women become fools in the name of love and family, lose their own identity, and are not appreciated…
Well, the drama is set in Korea where patriarchy is KING. It sucks what women has to sacrificed for themselves and their family and be still seen as the "weaker sex". smh.
I think ppl just take it too seriously and this is the type of drama that shouldn't be taken too seriously, I…
I love detective/action and yes, I'm the type who takes them seriously, but I'm all for fun action series like Johnny English and Pink Panther (for the lack of better example), but some of the scenes with this drama didn't match the humor and action they want to convey IMO. They were even beginning to insert a romance angle, which was so forced.
Episode 10 was a blast. It still has major character inconsistencies but the over all tone and thrilling aspects…
not a huge fan of Joo Won, but he has acted in loads of dramas, 2-3 of them were not only high in ratings, but were also well-received in terms of story and acting. His notable works were "Good Doctor" and "The Bridal Mask".
I'm still on Episode 9, should I continue? It seems pretty dumb of them that they went to the training facility, knowing that it was made like a trap, but only Skunk wore a protective gear while the police officer was just wearing her usual. Also, a lot of villains were also getting on my nerves, not because they were effective actors, but their characters were really annoying. The only saving grace of this drama for me is Skunk, Ae ri, and Chun Ja
I know this is not the biggest thing and I still want to see the movie, because they are cute... BUT they do use…
"ohh... are you bisexual >:C !!??" meaning you might cheat - card --- is being bisexual equates to a high possibility of cheating? Or is this one of your pre-conceived notion? Did they ever explain it in the drama? Or did they ever cheat in this drama? If not, highly-likely that you're thinking about it too much
You know what I just noticed about this drama... it says that Shiro and Kenji live in a two-bedroom apartment.…
Oh! Having separate beds or even separate bedrooms is quite common in Japan, it’s hardly something by which to judge the depth of a relationship. In fact, the bed is a fairly recent import from the west. Traditionally Japanese people have been sleeping on separate futons and many still do. Plenty of couples in their 40s or older actually maintain their own bedrooms, so I wouldn’t call Shirou and Kenji sharing theirs roommate behaviour. If anything, you could say each having their own bed in their shared room is another manifestation of their ideal "kyorikan", a distance at which your spaces overlap but do not come overbearingly close, an aspect of their relationship that really seems to resonate with a lot of Japanese people. Sometimes it’s important to check your cultural preconceptions before drawing conclusions. --- kinounaniresource

I'm still on ep 24 though, but I haven't gotten tired with it, maybe because it's just soothing and all
