"Kame fix"? Did you just mistaken Sato Takeru for Kamenashi Kazuya? Haha.I thought the FL is also incompetent,…
My bad, yes, I meant IV instead of ID! Anyway, I'm a huge fan of Kame way back Nobuta days and the only time I thought they look alike was during Kenshin movies. About your question, someone like Sakai do exist, but her confidence is something I rarely come across for people on their 1st job.
I was bored and give it a shot, its a dissaster, really i want to puke only from thinking about it. first of all…
First, I also hate dumb female characters, but hey, there is such thing as "character development", not everyone starts strong especially female leads, they can be weak and dumb until they find their strenghts. I was once a rookie nurse too, I know the feeling of incompetency especially if it involves IV transfusion and so, but do you honestly think that our school or are professors would let us out in the open without assessing our skills? Do you think we can pass the board exam if we were that dumb? Second, this drama is based from a manga, so don't expect this to be that realistic and the dumb staff is all part of manga humor. The manga character is 23 yrs old, one year older than the real age of FL, so they are close enough. Its not her fault she looks younger than her age, you complain about women being given dumb roles yet you also ridicule women for looking younger when, age-wise, its just right. Third, Itazura is a japanese original, it also came from a manga, the only similarity they have is when both leads are already in their careers, but the entire plot is very different. Fourth, I can give you 10 (or more) female-centric characters, femme-fatales if you want, so you'll see that one of the reason that childbirth is low in Japan is NOT bc female are portrayed poorly, but because they are too empowered they don't need a husband and having a child gets in way of their flourishing careers. Lastly, watching this doesn't mean I discriminate women, its because I know the term 'suspension of disbelief' and that no matter how bad the FL may seem at first, a strong woman always prevails against her adversaries, adversaries like you who only watched one episode, made a lengthy comment about women discrimination, when in reality, you are discriminating the character for being dumb without seeing her positive qualities and that NO ONE STAYS DUMB forever.
Tell me again why the female lead needs to be murderously incompetent, willing to risk patient lives as long as…
"Kame fix"? Did you just mistaken Sato Takeru for Kamenashi Kazuya? Haha. I thought the FL is also incompetent, but she's just acting like the usual fresh grad, not everyone is like Sakai on their first jobs. As a nurse, you have no idea how long it took me to just remove an ID, more so, to insert one.
I got into Johnny's Entertainment because of their dramas. I didn't even know they were idols or even a jpop group until I saw them promoting in Music Station and when I read articles how they were made fun for being idol-actors. Yamada Ryosuke even humbly said that he'll always be an idol and doesn't like to be called an actor. I fell in love with Kimura Takuya first then Arashi, I was watching almost every member-starring drama before I got into their music (from HYD, Kimi wa petto, Smile, Yamada Taro, Maou...). I watched almost every existing Yamapi drama back then despite all the rant on his 'dead fish' eyes. Usually Johnny's would co-star with another big star from a diff agency and that's how I became a fan Oguri Shun, Aragaki Yui, Masami Nagasawa, Ishihara Satomi, and Ayase Haruka. I fell in love with AMUSE boys as well starting with Haruma Miura bc of Bloody Monday. Ooh, I don't understand Japanese, but I watch Going! solely for Kame, like its my plan to watch a baseball game when I go to Japan in hopes I'll see Kame. BTW, I never consider Matsuda Shota as an idol actor, I think that the 'idol' tag had been completely removed from him the moment he starred in Liar Game. Its so rare for me to see someone whose into Japanese idols, lets be friends.
Oh where, oh where can the subs be??? Only up to episode 12, I'm dying subbers :'( Please, please have pity on…
Drama is updated every Sat and Sun, 2 episodea each at WeTV. Although its region-locked, I can watch it back in the Phils but now that I'm in Seoul, it says that it can't be played due to copyright restrictions. I even subscribed to become a VIP and they region-locked my account.
I saw this movie like a decade ago (OMG!), one of the first Japanese movies I've seen and I recall how disturbing and gruesome it was. Nevertheless, this movie started my addiction to Japanese dramas/movies in high school setting so it'll always be close to my heart. Don't know about the remake though.
WeTV has a free trial for vip if you want to watch the episodes with English subtitles.
Yep, I just saw it this on WeTV, don't know if it has been more than a month, but for some reason I'm still a VIP. Haha. BTW, VIP subscription is only a dollar/month, which is already a bargain.
