From what i see your 2nd question has been answered so here's my take on the 1st one.
If u rewind to the 13th episode where porsche has flashbacks regarding his childhood, we can see kan (vegas' father) is sitting across from porsche's dad and korn (kinn's father) is the one at the head of the table. This matches with kan's story. Also the things they say are similar to what Kan says which makes believe as u mentioned kan isn't lying here but korn is.
