I honestly don't know, I watched it live on YouTube, there were no subtitles or anything, but He finds out the baby didn't die, and when he gets home, he starts beating the woman, saying she lied to him. Then the woman pushes him, and something boiling on the stove falls on him. That's where it ends. They didn't show anything else about his father's thing.
What was wrong with this ending? It felt rushed. Phoem shot himself and it was over. WHATTT? What happened to the other family members? What happened to Shen's disgusting father after he was boiled? They left so much out. I really liked the detail of the bird coming out of the cage after Phoem shot himself; it left a message like they were finally free. Honestly, I was very disappointed with the ending but tone and shen chemistry is chemistry
Liu Yuning's OST for Rebirth's closing song, right? 😋😋 Seriously, I wish it had received the recognition it deserved. So much effort went into it. If the director had been different, if a better actress had been chosen for the female lead, and if they had stayed more faithful to the novel, it wouldn't have turned out like this. Making the female lead look weaker ruined everything. I think if there had been a better director and a different female lead, the result wouldn't have been like this. Wow, Rebirth is ending tomorrow! I think this drama was unfairly treated; it was quite weak. It started with scandals, the female leader's earring incident (which already ruined the show for Chinese fans), OST plagiarism, and even from the first episode, it was dragged down by the director's filming mistakes, etc. But I'm happy that Li Yunrui shone even brighter and showed himself (most people watched/are watching for him anyway). Every episode is a separate event. Everything isn't about statistics. Even though it's quite low on the charts, I love Rebirth. I wish it could have been better... I think the actors were able to show themselves, and most of them are popular. Only the female leader could have been better; she looked very blank in some scenes, and they also made her even weaker.
