Lols! We will need group therapy after the final episode!
Unfortunately Strongberry is stretching out the final episodes of ChocoMilk. One last episode Dec. 6, and then two weeks later Dec. 20th is some sort of special episode. You will have to wait a bit longer before diving into another tissue box. Though if don't mind a very light spoiler, I am sure many will let ya know if it is safe for your soul to watch!
I'd say give it a shot. It might get sad at some points but you're going to miss out on a beautifully done BL…
I agree 陳廷軒. KuudereDoll, we all kinda know its going to be sad, but it is delightfully filmed and acted. Though Mitsura gets the 2022 Tsundre Character of the Year Award.
Lols! We will need group therapy after the final episode!
I am also watching Choco Milk Shake and gambling Strongberry will make that a happy ending too. Having two of these shows going into the depressing Winter season, I will be the one with cookies and punch at the group therapy meetings. Cya soon! LOL
Despite the bad scriptwriting and plot holes, I'm actually enjoying this. I like Nhai's character, he's a silly…
I have been actually thinking a lot about Nhai and how kind of irritating we was in the first half of the series. He just didn't seem likable. And I have been thinking about Rain from LITA, and how charming, adorable, and likeable his airhead character was. Full props to Noeul for threading the needle on creating a character that is kinda dumb but so appealing. The actor playing Nhai took a little too long (or the writing) for me to find him nearly as charming as Rain. But I do like that he is more likeable in the back half of the series. And not so dang gullible when the witch mother appeared.
When they go back to “wherever” won’t the men they were still be there? Maybe just maybe, they will meet…
That certainly is a possibility. But these shows typically disregard "looks or gender" as the overall defining reason why people fall in love. Not discounting it, but take ViceVersa or any body swap theme (not a fan of btw) its about falling in love with the 'person'. So one drawback of Uncle/JungWoo finding and falling for is those human bodies that the pets formally known as Milk and Choco inhabited, but their personalities would be so vastly different that only their appearance, at least initially, would be a reason for falling in love. I think maybe once they go back to wherever, the bodies go too. There has not been any indication they are currently taking over someone else's body. But I love that you are trying to find a way to make sure this series will give us a happy ending!
I thought of that today, too. I guess we're just supposed to suspend disbelief on this detail.
This and a few other things have bothered me too, but in the end, this is a fairy tale, and they have such a short amount of time to convey the story. My take is they just manifest the clothing. Each definitely have their own style so recycling Jung Woo's clothes is not an option. We just have to suspend disbelief that there is magic going on making them human enough to speak fluently, know enough about the rules of a much bigger world they had little experience as as pets. My wish is once they find true love, they become Real Boys, and then have to face the mundanity of life; paying bills, groceries and wardrobe. Some life and job skills would be needed for them to be inserted into the real world permanently. But for now they are here temporarily and have just enough magic left for the basics. Now, I wouldn't be upset if they had arrived all naked like in Miracle of Teddy Bear!
Episode 9 Best Actor and Best MVP award goes to Milk. He protrayed his cat character so well that i decided to…
Yes, Kim Seong Hyuk nailed it this episode! But 'Choco' Lee Jae Bin did a fine job pleading with Jung Woo to let him stay. Not to disparage other studios, but you can tell these guys are trained actors to make us feel so much in such short episodes. Using non-actors with workshops and training is fine, but this is a good example of actors being able to precisely convey the emotional moments. Cheers to a long and popular acting career for this small team!
the rating makes no sense, this is a masterpiece!!
Even if this has a sad ending, At the end, I will rate this a 10 to drive that number up. While not a shoestring budget, this lower budget web series is giving more in 10 minutes than some of the high budget/concepts we have uhhh..suffered through this last quarter of 2022.
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! There are customers in the shop!
Ahahha! Yes and though they look like the film crew, bless them for helping make that restaurant look less like they are going under. It be cute if we got a Tasty Florida type thing. Have a meal, and watch sexy male waiter! Uncle's biz is saved by hot guys lol!
So I am trying desperately to suspend disbelief about the science. fitting billions in bunkers when the planet is going to shatter. I can do this. But in Ep5 watching them not hoard groceries for the next week was pushing it. And then someone bought condoms?!? The world ends in 6 days, just raw dawg it for gawdsake! But it’s nice to know the psycho that literally tried to murder you with a guitar is thinking of your sexual health.
Going to say this now. I see great acting potential in him. He is quite handsome but he has a unique face and…
If we don't get a shirtless shot of him by the end, I am lodging a formal complaint. Whoever was in charge of dressing all these guys should get an award. Even with Choco's lose fitting tops, you can tell Jae Bin hits the gym/pilates hard.
Has anyone spotted a Instagram for any of the cast?
I was just comment how hard it must have been for doing nearly 4 minutes of dialog, navigating the streets. This…
I think Snoopy said that this was the hardest episode, and I suspect they had to keep trying to really nail this shot. It still feels spontaneous and in the moment.

It's the outdoor part the cements it for me. Traffic was light for the shot, but it didn't feel like they shot this at the height of the pandemic when so many BL's couldn't make any space looked lived in. That's what I love about Taiwanese BL. The sets and set dressing look so lived in.
This is why Ilovr Taiwanese BL over others. The series is more adult content. The storyline is more interesting…
I still wouldn't mind some sexier moments in Taiwanese shows. They certainly don't have an issue in their short form movies (ie Light) Sure Thailand has had its issues and big sexy moment but it really feels like this year was the first year they really let lose with some NC scenes, and having different streaming platforms for Uncut versions seem like a great way to still spice things up and put out a tamer versions for those adverse to that.
The big point is, having this particular couple that we have come to know and understand that if they do in fact have a tender love scene, it will be so much more powerful than a drunken hook-up that many BL rely on. There is a solid foundation here!
This episode was spectacular!! The angst was giving and delivering! The rejection from Bai Lang was so bittersweet…
Finally an adult conversation, and I especially like An calling Bai Lang our for the constant interruptions...a trademark in all drama, someone speaking out of turn not letting the other speak, or an inconvenient interruption. Just so glad there was an adult dialog finally!
I love how Jin XunAn got upset when Bai Lang confessed his feelings like that after turning him down in a rather…
I am here for the 10 page review! I was most satisfied to see that final conversation being nearly a 4 minute no cut walk through the city. Taiwan is killing it this year!
I liked #8 for so many good reasons. . .the acting, the lines, the direction the story took us, and the low-boil…
I was just comment how hard it must have been for doing nearly 4 minutes of dialog, navigating the streets. This really shows their acting prowess. And on top of that, a real live adult conversation about having a relationship. The only memorable time for me when I have seen such a shot is the very end of Looking the Movie. They must walk for 4-5 minutes through the early mornings of San Fran until they get to the all night cafe. I love seeing that vibe here!
