The music is what is driving me away. The weird "Do Whop" song that intrudes randomly, and the prancing piano…
That's my feeling also. Too many story lines to follow. You'd think they'd learn. Maaaybe if there were 17 episodes I could understand taking on that many story arcs. I'm invested enough to stay tuned, but let's compla...comment together! :-D
After falling in love with the uniqueness of this series in the first couple of episodes, this week I realized…
The music is what is driving me away. The weird "Do Whop" song that intrudes randomly, and the prancing piano music. This last episode I tried muting the show, since I can't speak Thai, I thought I may as well just read the subs, but the delivery of lines is still important.
I will tolerate the first year of college being totally disruptive to friendship groups. That seems realistic to me. And I can even understand some students being ill prepared for college courses. Where they once coasted through high school, with friends help, they find they have to adapt and hunker down, or just leave. I remember a handful of college students on my dorm floor who never made it to second semester.
Is this interesting to watch though? Meh. But the show is called Remember Me, and I suspect it is about the grimy details of pivotal moments of becoming an adult.
The hardest part for me was watching Champ struggle alone. This felt authentic to me, though like many college series, he should have made a few friends by now. With his grandfathers health declining, I wonder if we will actually see a bl college student drop out.
And Name is def. my favorite character too. I find both what he and his mom are going through very realistic. I felt bad for both characters. It's not often we get to see parents struggle like that in a BL.
I can't take Nan or his story seriously with that wig 💀
What I don't understand is their hair never changes for this time period, but the computers and tech sure are growing fast. Time still seems to be elapsing, but the wigs are forever.
I think they are lost. You are right, I watch now several series and the same scenes over and over again. I think…
I am tired of the wipe downs too. Even Love In The Air, which I have been enjoying, had like 3 episodes of wipe downs. Sky was sick too long and then tired too much. The writers need to find some other intimate ways for characters to interact. This trope has been done to death this year.
Seriously. How does a ball hitting you in the side make you sick? Did he rupture an organ with the breezy ball hit? And I have watched too many sponge baths this last couple months. The writers has got to find something new. There is so much more BL content thankfully, but they are mostly still doing the same tropes over and over.
LOL, that's the thing. There are like NO redeeming qualities for Nhai that would make any person want to date…
It is not even that he has no redeeming qualities as a boyfriend, but he is also a terrible friend. Why that friend group keeps him around is beyond me. He is a whiny baby that they have to keep watch over. He brings nothing to the group. He is not fun, he is self-centered, he constantly needs notes and tutoring. Ok, sure, not everyone in a friendship group has to bring something, but he literally just takes and takes. I would have been fine with 3 episodes of Nhai being a pain in the ass, but with character growth. And here we are, 7 episodes in and nothing. I must be like his friends, cause I am still subjecting myself to his lack of character.
I don't think there is any reason to give a sad ending. Since it is just a cute drama and they themself know it…
I'm with you. I don't think your wrong. This has a very lighthearted vibe with all the Feels. Plus, Strongberry has not been in the habit of giving us sad endings.
I thought this would be awful and it’s really great. They are nailing the cat and dog energy. I loved how Milk…
Milk only ate the whipped cream when Uncle was there. As soon as Uncle went to answer his phone and wasn't watching, Milk snarfed up some waffle. Cats!
So you mean we are four ep toward the end but the main couple didn't even confess, they didn't kiss forget abt…
At least with Unforgotten Night, it was so campy, that many of us could laugh at it. This one doesn't even have that redeeming quality. I feel like this should be compared to Check Out. I never did find out how that ended and I gave at least 8 episodes. I might just wait for the final episode and then back track if I am lost...which I won't be.
In 1976, The Eagles wrote a horrible yet prolific song called Hotel California where the guests check in but never…
Maybe they ARE at the Hotel California! That would explain all the white outfits and horse Ohm and Phayu have on while in 'hiding' I can see it now, everyone is revealed to actually be dead, including Sun, who just couldn't reach an apple in time to save himself. What a dumpster fire.
I agree with you wholeheartedly! I was completed interested in the evil doctor plot. But it's moving at a snail…
The most likely explanation is Rain is living in the horse cellar, and Phayu has been taking care of him, so he is not missing him at all. Why he is living there and why they don't tell Kim....baffling. Kim is out riding a horse all over the estate. It's not like they are hunkered down in the house.
I will be in the minority here, but I have to say it:I was actually relieved that the kiss was Akk's dream. Considering…
My issue with the 'Almost Kiss', is that they did it again at the end of of this episode. It felt like lazy writing by doing a 'Kiss Cliffhanger' twice.
Its pretty straight forward if you ask me. Basically a love to hate romance. The excution has been adorably cute…
Ohh no! I myself don't think anything about this is stale! Delightfully silly, sure! OTHERS have been complaining about it being boring, which I don't get it. I am so relieved to have the flow of building the relationship first, then solving problems together. later Much Like Bad Buddy, though it really wasn't until episode 7-8 they got totally together. The back half was them against others. I'd love to see that here. I find that more compelling watching couples fighting to stay together, not just fighting over miscommunication or jeolousy. I am totally loving this series, and I kind of found the couples heated moments more sexy than KinnPorsche for some reason.

It looks like the outside interference is going to happen next episode (6). I'm actually glad they built them as a couple first, giving us all the good parts. Now we just have to watch as they try to stay together. We rarely get that. It's usually the final episodes they become a couple. I much prefer a couple fighting to stay together. That is the trade-off, kinda stale for those looking for drama at the beginning.
5th episode was more mature, excluding that wifey husband thingy 😂 actually can't wait for another couples…
He no longer had his pajama bottoms on, and one would assume he was uh..standing at attention. Scrambling away from his mother while in that state makes sense! ;-)
