i kind of wanted his mother to know who she was because she was always worried about the FL's background. but her identity is really dangerous to be revealed but still i hoped she knew and loved her dearly because they were engaged at the beginning so she would love her even more. anyways its fine i dont think the drama will go any deeper about her identity its like fully buried now. this drama's flow was good from start to end. when i started this drama i didnt knwo it would go like this i thought it is a romance drama i have been crying continuously from 1st episode 5 more to go and ik at the end even ML will die:(((((

i had asked a similar question and someone answered saying that eunuchs are not allowed to involve in politics but here in that scene they were taking documents related to politics so the emperor is lenient and is partial to them and rules are being broken. also the play tells about the other general who was loyal to the emperor but later emperor kills him becuase of his jealousy so now since ljq is the emperor's favorite same fate he might get. that is what thta scene is about this is what i understood so he resign s(i didnt know that he resigned becuase evrything was rushed)

exactly my thought... i feel like they rushed things up even though its not the last 2-3 episdodes. they still have 8 more episodes and all these imp details were rushed. esp jinlan's death it was shocking that they killed him so suddenly. yes they were showing us how sick he was but it still was sudden.

can anyone explain the play i didnt understand what she was trying to explain him. also that "eunuch are not allowed to involve themselves in politics" and the walk back from the palace? i am dumb and feel like that part is important to know about the ML's life and his FUTURE because it doesnt look bright:')

i see it now...slowly all the women are becoming widow or divorcee. first the eldest sister then the 2nd brother's wife and now xiuru...i am afraid in the end even lanxiang will become one...please dont kill the ML... this drama is not giving any warning either directly killing or divorcing all unexpected...:(((all seem so realistic btw:((( i love the drama because its not typical romance or revenge drama it goes deeper than that. it shows shen jialan's entire life story including her feelings(which they dont go too deep into) thoughts struggles. nicely depicted but they shouldnt have kept the genre as romance because the way the story is portrayed romance is the least related genre. its like she is just doing her duty as wife and nothing to do with feelings and as time passes she gets used to it thats it

i dont think so. see clearly its the sisters, relatives and maids. and the last woman (they focused on) is xiuwan's sister in law
