The drama didn't explain why the queen became ill. I think, she smashed the spinning wheel because she got so dissapointed with the king, she always doing actions based on former queen's (the present king's mother) teaching, one of them : men protect the family, women keep the family warm (the spinning wheel represent women spin to make fabric, fabric become clothes, clothes to provide for the family to be warm), she always did her part as the woman of the family for her husband, but at her life and death situation, the king didn't believe her and didn't even apologize or did something after it proved he is wrong. The queen always try her best to protect the king when he is still the unfavored crown prince, but now after he become king, he favour Song Concubine more over her even in that dangerous situation, hence the big dissapointment.

so, it's not just me :D I really need to fully concentrate when watching this drama, so the pace of the subs bugged me sometimes, make me go back and forth several times until I gave up and switch to 0.75x speed, but then on certain scenes, dialogue felt too slow to watch on 0.75x speed and I had to switch back to speed 1x, oh my LOL I only watched Victoria's modern drama before, so it surprised me also how she can nailed it here. And yes, Yibo being Yibo, is perfect here
really love how Luoyang, for me, kinda become the wrap up drama to end this year. I watched until ep 8, and for me is an absolute 10, hopefully the story, the pace, will keep on like this until the end. The only thing that bother me a bit was the speedy subs, I really can't believe I have a drama that finally make me watch it in 0.75x speed sometimes so I can catch up what the subs said LOL. And I really have to praise Yibo on how he selected the project he starred in, he picked well, this drama was different from his previous works, so it helps him to act on a wide variety of genre, very good job Yibo. Quality over quantity. Victoria, I have doubt before I start watching, on how she gonna be different from her previous work and would she be able to tackle a character like Yuehua, and yes, she can, like the way she potrayed Yuehua so far. Huang Xuan, he is a seasoned actor, so I won't say much, only I like his acting, I cry bucket of tears after watched his performance on ep 7. Tomorrow, only 2 ep left for this week airing time, I wish it could air everyday, so we won't have to wait until next Wed to get new ep.
