I think so far, the interactions between ML & FL, the progression of their love, is making sense. Both have a lot of misunderstandings since the day FL arrive in town. ML with his own pride and FL with her own prejudice, also didn't help. From the moment they met, until ep 17, if I remember correctly, they also never talk heart to heart. On several occasions, before they get married, I got irritated of the FL's way of talk or the way she act. She is a smart person but she also naive, e.g : she talk big about she try to save her own dad eventhough it might cost her life and she naively accept 2ML's offer to help because he have some friends who work at their destinations, while she also knows the fact that even a guy as powerful as ML's dad had trouble on dealing on this matter. I know she is desperate, I don't blame her for trying her best to help, but the way she talks to ML is so judgemental. Of course at that time, she didn't know that ML already help her a lot in her father's case, but it was right in front of her when ML save her because of another of her stupidity helping 2ML when 2ML try to assassinate Commander Kang, is she think that lightly of the help of Xiao Family and ML?? I have to thank ML's stupid annoying sister here who spilled how serious the matter is to FL. ML & FL relationship has lack of communications and lots of misunderstanding, that they need people around them to shine some light into that matter. I love how Mo Wei Yi finally make FL know and realize that ML love her. And also ML's male maid who spilled what ML had done and had to endure because of FL. And thank goodness, from then on, finally FL become more aware herself of her surrounding when ML secretly helping her. After their marriage, the way FL's act or talk is much more smooth and less or no judgemental, she talk carefully, assess situations more carefully. I think I might say this is also FL's character development, altough it much subtle compare to ML's , is there. Looking forward for the rest of the episodes, hopefully it will stay good like this.

yes, me too. Been awhile till I found a drama in this era that got me hooked again. This drama need more appreciations. The earlier episodes, the way ML treat FL, made not sit well with a lot of people. but like the drama tag : character development, I think the ML grow into a much more likeable character after his time in military academy, and the ML & FL interactions getting more and more interesting by each episodes.
