I actually have the same question as you. The synopsis stated that the FL fall for 2ML, but for me, I never felt that the FL fall for 2ML, she just treat him as her best friend.
I think both ML and 2ML kinda have a delusional on their own of the FL fall for them. While for me, the FL didn't have that kind of feelings yet for both of them, but, the FL did kinda attracted to ML in 1st ep when their eyes met for the first time. If I'm not mistaken, the FL narrative : at that time, I didn't understand why of all in the crowd, was his gaze that attracted me.
But, her slightest attractions was ruined by the ML's behaviour towards her, so she never thought that the ML like / love her at all, the attractions never blossomed into like / love yet.

On several occasions though, when their eyes met, or the ML actions, she startled by them but she didn't think further or think of it as the ML like her because she always thought the ML didn't like her. When kinda similar thing happen with her interactions with the 2ML, she didn't have the same reactions.
Also, there is different reactions of the FL toward ML and 2ML when she finally know their feelings towards her.
So, for me, the ML has more place in FL's heart than 2ML, but she just didn't realize it yet.
And yes, I also love the chemistry between ML and FL.

But I think the drama never potray that the FL fall in love with 2ML? She just treat him as her best friend. While in the synopsis it said that the FL fall in love with 2ML?
And from the preview and trailer, I think the FL also behave accordingly (as if it is a real marriage), hopefully the 2ML or anyone didn't put them into another misunderstanding, but somehow I have doubt based on how long the total eps and the drama tag : unlikely romance :((
But still, yes, finger crossed that their love can develop sooner and it will be a happy end.

He can't even provide for his own mom, but he dare to ask the FL to stay for him and now he even get the FL into trouble. He even more immature than the ML I might say. The ML eventhough he is a rich spoiled brat at the beginning, but at least he realize to make himself better. While the 2ML, he is like living in his own bubble world. He can't even make enough money to provide for his own mother and him, but still have time to take a super slow stroll with the FL?? Well, the good side is, because of him, the FL going to marry the ML sooner. Can't wait to see the 2ML's annoying face when he hear about the FL & ML get married. So, I must say, the trouble the 2ML bring to FL is kinda like a nice plot device mover after all :D
Too bad there is only 1 ep today, tomorrow too, can't wait for the Sunday's eps based on the preview.

ugh, the 2ML is so annoying

is it just me, I was about to watch ep 37, and when I watched the op credit, I count how many ep remained and I felt really really sad, 4 more eps and this beautiful love story of Yun He and Chang Yi will come to an end :((
I don't know how the drama will end, so far season 2 differ quite a bit from the novel, but still the main CP love story still beautifully told. Is truly become one of my fave cdrama. One of best cdrama of 2022.

I'm watching ep 2 right now, OMG when LJS and YH saw CY naked, such a contrast reaction LOL and LJS keep saying : that's why I want to look (again) to make sure OMG LOL LOL

Kisskh, dramacool, etc are not official platform, they don't have their own subbers, they take the subs from original source (in this case, Youku) so if Youku didn't provide eng sub, we also won't get subbed ep on kisskh, etc

I just know that Allen's muscular body is fake? Wow, nice CGI, it really looks like his real body.

I think it's a small chance it going to air at wetv, but who knows, I was also hoping wetv somehow gonna get the license to air it on their platform from youku because after all Reba is wetv spokeperson.
But for now, I think only Croton has the license to air it for international fans.

I want to know what shampoo or whatever herbs or medicine FL wore that make her hair grow that long in just 1 month hahaha.
Just finished ep 1, raw, so I can not understand the narration at the beginning, but the rest of ep 1 kinda full of actions so I think for those who might tempted to watch it raw, might going to understand it.
And now I'm contempleted to read the novel or not, or just finished watch the whole drama (at least season 1) before I read it?

I think the drama will only cover the happy ending part not until the whole history of the main leads.
The actor who played the ML also said in the interview that the drama will have a happy ending.
