How do I recover?
Where do I find even the words to describe how great this drama is? To say that I absolutely loved this is an understatement.I first watched CXX in My Boss. I didn't think he had a lot of chemistry with ZRN there so I went into LBL with not a lot of expectations. I do love my girl LYX so there was no way I was skipping this. Boy, I am so glad I gave this a chance! From the very first episode you could already tell LYX and CXX were going to have explosive chemistry. I fell in love with CXX's subtle facial expressions...the way you can tell he's smiling with just his eyes, how he looks at LYX with tenderness, I loved all of it! It also didn't hurt that the VR set design was a work of art. Seriously, I want to live in Rong City. The only thing I regret is not seeing the second couple get together officially because bestie GHC is such a cutie he truly deserved to get his happy ending with ZXR.
My first 2026 drama is q 1,000/10!

This is hands down one of my most favorite dramas of all time. I love how simple it is. Yes, it's a celebrity drama so how "real" can it really be but Reba's character was written in such a lovely way that she seems like a normal person. Yang Yang also killed it in this drama! I know a lot of people criticize his acting but I think he did a great job. My most favorite thing about YY and DD as a couple? The hugs. They have THE BEST hugging scenes in any drama that I just replay every scene with hugging in it.I highly recommend you watch this if you're looking for a comfort watch!!!

Loved the actors, did not love the story and directing.
I jumped into this right after Love Between Lines for CXX. While I loved the actors and the acting, the directing, editing and overall plot was just subpar. I think the actors did their best but I skipped through a lot of cringey scenes. The plot was also very thin. I just couldn't understand some story points because of the transitions between scenes.Was this review helpful to you?
Watched for the chemistry
As most of the reviewers have already said, the story is absolute bonkers and makes close to zero sense. However, CYX and FJ have AMAZING chemistry and all the kiss scenes are super hot so just watch it for that. I also love that Youku has kept up the promotions after it has ended which tells me the word of mouth is strong for this show.Was this review helpful to you?
PERFECTION
First of all, I can tell you that never, ever, ever have I ever cried with every single episode in all my years of watching K and C dramas. That is until Go Ahead.This show is a masterpiece from start to finish. The story is so heartwarming but also wrenching at the same time. The love between the FAMILY (yes, all caps) is just absolutely beautiful. I want to be Jian Jian so badly. This is a definite must-watch if you're looking for a great c-drama to start with.

This show is perfection! The story, acting, cast, directing are all 100/100. HMH and LYX have the best chemistry!!! The hot tub scene, HOT. That wedding umbrella scene, heartbreaking. I get all squishy just watching them stare at each other. I've rewatched this 3x already and I plan to do so many more times.Was this review helpful to you?
Can't figure it out
I started watching this because of LYX and WYX. I loved LYX in "Love In The Clouds" and WXY in "Amidst A Snowstorm of Love" so them in one show should have been a winner right? Wrong.I don't know what to make of this show. I think the entire cast has zero chemistry with one another. The sisters, the mom with her daughters, the couples, the brothers in law. Even WXY and his assistant MJ have zero chemistry and that master/sidekick dynamic is usually the funniest one! The actors individually were great it's just none of them meshed well at any point in the 12 episodes I've finished so I'm just going to drop this because it's not worth it.
