Let's get something straight, transphobia is non-existent, and saying you're either a man or a woman isn't hate, that's you just stating the very obvious(which I did with the drama by the way), and if that comes off as hate to you, then that's entirely your problem, also tells me all I need to know about you too, this are facts, biologically proven and backed, coupled with common sense(I guess that term is quite new to you). "Bigot, personality disorder, toxic" all this were said by you yet I'm the one whom is rattled(laughable if you ask me), last I checked I wasn't the one who said this "people giving it bad reviews but is a good show" "....but we cannot say at all that it's a bad series" yet I'm the desperate subjective one???(Do you not see how contradictory that is??, very funny too). Funny how I'm the one accused of having no mind of my own while your responses has been nothing short of delusional wokeism, reeks of victims of manipulation x propagandas(you've bigger issues to worry about henni). And oh I'm a woman by the way and I do not watch dramas to fulfill fantasies(another schizophrenic self projection), I guess your fantasies were met, which is why you've a problem with those that says how lacking or terrible the show was🙂. Apologies that my responses happen to be long, yours do too mind you, but go off.
Saved this part for this one. Good sex scene and kisses also does not immediately translate to a good movie(what matters more is the chemistry between both parties, and chemistry isn't just kisses and sex too), you might as well watch porn if that's what you're looking for, you can sure give them their accolades for such scenes but that isn't obviously a yard stick to deciding if a movie is good or not, same for the movies with the dead fish kisses and poorly done sex scenes(still never changes the fact that a drama is good, you can just call that out while acknowledging the fact that said dramas is good). This wasn't about the show being low budget, I have seen several low budget works that were good. This wasn't an opinion born out of frustration, you are just frustrated by it, hence why you tried downplaying it, masked with "personal opinion"
oh unfortunately you are indeed a lover of mediocrity, glad you use the sky as instance and let me tell you something, that isn't ever gonna happen, just the same way trans women will always be men(vice versa for the trans men) no matter what. I have watched several works from different countries/companies/pairs and ofcourse budgets. Bigger budget does not immediately translate to a better show, a popular name/duo does not immediately translate to a good show(the next Prince is a good instance amongst many high budget mid dramas released this year), these are basically your own projection/thoughts, which I never said myself, still wondering why you immediately concluded that's the case for me or even rattled by the fact that I said a work that is bad, "is bad"(and rightfully so) not just using mdl as metrics to come to that conclusion, you don't need professionals to know this, just common sense is enough, this work was terrible and terribly done and this isn't a personal opinion, perhaps you need to take your own advice on the critical thinking part because it's obvious you need it more. Needn't any public validation for this, just facts, ohhh and their acting wasn't good as well, but the cast were good looking though.
it isn't a personal opinion(talking about mine), this drama would be considered bad judging with everything that makes a drama good, we sure have rights to personal opinions, you said personally and that's okay(would not have responded if it was highlighted as that, and not you and your friend trying to downplay the reviews of many others stating the fact that this is indeed bad, and rightfully so), but when it comes to general opinion regarding this drama, it is definitely considered as a bad one. sorry just stating facts
Season 2 coming January 2026https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxGUQsvgSEjvdZbKC5b4wARc0V6qw8MXV2
Lord have mercy, 30mins of what???? s1 was absolute garbage with just 10mins runtime, so what exactly would they be doing for 30 fucking mins in s2?????
This was a beautiful watch, it was obvious the message they were trying to pass along, it is indeed okay to fail, it's part of life, we shouldn't result to ending it all when it gets tough, cried so much watching this because I relate with it alottttt, solid 9/10 for me
why are mfs hating bro???? I'm not even watching yet, but the tweet I be seeing on twitter is just crazy!!!! like why all that hate???? makes no sense, and judging from the stats on mdl, the drama is doing well
done watching and I'm not even gonna lie, I enjoyed enagachiaki dynamics more, lol but then ae and enaga are same person... eitherway I enjoyed watching this drama!!
I just started watching ep1, and that night scene where they meet for the first time had me feeling all typa way, my God that was an electrifying chemistry x tension. what!!!!!!!!!!!!
my God this drama is insane!!!! loved every bit of it even though I feel that ending was rushed, or maybe this is hope that we may get s2???(I genuinely hope so), remember the yohan's isn't even dead yet!! so hope we get s2. solid 8.5 rating for me
it's a lot girl, I read the novel, which why is I said it's a alot. maybe one of this days, I will put my thoughts together regarding the adaptation. Sorry for the late response, busy busy modern world you know. lol
Said I was going to come back, finally watched the 2eps out and I'm glad I ended up watching 2eps at a go instead of one, here is why
The premise setting from when bell saw the drugs in her bag till when she was arrested and immediately sent to prison the very next morning was a lil unrealistic, it really was jarring for me, like I was dead ass frustrated at her, she had all the time to escape that doom/fate but I guess it's one of those things that just never makes sense while watching movies, but you gotta accept it anyway. Lol. I immediately had to search how strict Thailand is with drug related crimes before judging the scene where she was sent to prison next morning, and got to learn that they're pretty strict, even some cases end with death penalty, depending on the intensity of the case or crimes, so that part was completely ignored by me even though I had questions.
The little weird noises or side talk from other prisoners on the scene where bell made her way to her cell was completely unnecessary and kinda off-putting, I feel like cold or mean stares/look from the prisoners would've been a better option for that scene, not to mention how slow/dragged it was.
This is the part where I was glad that I watched 2eps at a go because my question was answered in ep2, using exactly the cast that actually made me have such questions, lol. I was wondering how this particular lady(DeeDee) was on a full glam/makeover, skin popping and all that while in prison, not to mention some side characters as well. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting some haggard rusty looking prisoners but the full glam was leaning close to unrealism, take Claire, Dao and mangpor for example, they look just fine for a prisoner, but glad I got my answer in ep2. And yeah I love the lil comic scenes in the drama
Some of the cast acting may seem awkward or the facial expression a lil forced, they're still doing a decent job regardless
Claire and Bell does have beautiful chemistry, no doubt.
And what's a prison base drama without wardens trying to manipulate or sleep with the prisoners, glad we got that representation.
Eitherway I'm enjoying it, this is my first time watching a gl drama and it's been a decent watch. Looking forward to new episodes!!!!
I've been on drama slump for so fucking long especially with kdramas, but this drama singlehandedly ended that and peaked my interest!!.. watched all four eps in a sitting, looking forward to the next eps
if is big mouth that you're talking about, then you're right, that show feels like a joke to me
