I agree with you on this point. I think Shun and Dai can work but as I’ve been saying here, Shun needs to heal and he will need to change some things because if not, he will be the toxic one in the relationship and make the relationship toxic as well. I was happy that he realized he’s a difficult person to handle and he tried to do better on EP8, we could also see that he was feeling really comfortable with Dai, which was awesome. But although it’s normal to have swing moods, things won’t always happen as he want and he needs to learn how to handle these kind of things and feelings. Dai can help him with some things as giving him security in the relationship, acceptance, love, respect but it won’t be much of a help if Shun doesn’t accept all this and change some of his behaviors and mindset.

Of course it takes time and I’m rooting for them to work out but if they ended up together in the show and they’re still together right now, I hope Shun is better mentally and I wish their relationship is healthy.

Totally agree with everything you said, especially about Dai and Shun. And I do think Dai is the only one in the house who can accept Shun and accept his timing. In fact I think Ryota gave up on him after seeing that Shun depends a lot of someone. He needs attention, care, love, understanding…which it can be exhausting for some people but certainly it wasn’t for Dai. It’s also important to say that although he like Shun and find him cute, if he disagrees with something or something hurts him, he will say, which is really important. But I do think Shun needs a therapy too to help him with his past! :) of course Dai being close to him, loving him, caring and giving him strength is also a type of help but some things, more like psychological things, needs more like a professional help.

I think you’re right about explore their connection but let’s wait for the next episodes

You felt like Ryota likes Gensei? I didn’t feel like that 😭 I felt like he chose Gensei because his choices didn’t work out and he wanted to stay the last date with the person he knows that likes him and he also likes to spend time. I didn’t see as a romantic thing, although it could be in the future (I hope so because I always liked them together too)

Hmmm I didn’t think much about this but now that you said, yes, it was a little weird. Maybe they wanted to do dates in different places? We could see that Dai and Shun were on a different place than Alan and Kazuto so they might have thought about two dates in a new place and one date at home idk. It could also be budget problems but I don’t think so. It’s much possible that they didn’t find another place to book for Gensei and Ryota so they had to stay at home.

But in the end I didn’t think it was bad for Gensei and Ryota at all, in a way it matched their likes and vibe.

I found cute that Shun and Dai were really happy about Gensei and Ryota’s date. We can see that these guys are close and supportive to each other.

I’m glad Shun realized he has issues and he tried to be better on EP8, little by little he tried to talk and show his feelings, although he still has a long way to go and he definitely needs to go to the therapist. We can see his actions are consequences of traumatic and toxic relationships and as he grew up without a family or someone to really care for him, he ended up being this troubled guy. He needs to be careful because if he don’t change he will be the one who’s toxic in his future relationships and none of his relationships will last. He will always feel sad, alone, abandoned and will always pull himself towards a dark side. But I think Dai is a person who can help him through this. He was soooo pacient and caring with him and I think he’s the type of guy who can also help Shun to overcome his past traumas. Their scenes were really cute on EP8 and their talk about marriage and having kids were really mature. I think it was the first time we saw them having equals opinions and mindset too. Their kiss was also beautiful and we could see they were holding soooo much, especially Dai which I find really respectable. He didn't want to make Shun uncomfortable. They were really cute together.

Finally Gensei and Ryota went on a date altough I don’t think Ryota is interested in him romantically. I wish Ryota noticed him faster tho because I always thought they matched. Their vibes is basically the same and Gensei is a great guy. I thought Kazuto and Ikuo were great together and I kind didn’t understand Kazuto’s thoughts about Ikuo being different with him and others. Ikuo is a great guy and it’s a shame he came last to the house. I like Alan too and I think he’s a great guy but I can’t see much chemistry between him and Kazuto…maybe it’s only me? lol

Taeheon is so cute omg I don't understand why no one was interested in him….maybe is the cultural differences because he lived in another countrys? I don’t know but it’s a pity.

Feeling suffocated is understandable but he should’ve talk about it with Dai instead of being cold with him. Let’s remember that Dai was the one who called him to talk, not Shun. Then after putting Dai on friendzone he gets angry at Dai because he was with Ikuo, which it didn’t make sense as Shun was the one who said they should stay as friends. I like Shun but he was kind of immature in those episodes and he lacked communication skills, which is really important for any relationship to work.

I don’t think the couples are planned, just the production team that probably observes everything and maybe try to build some narratives by editing

Yeah I kind felt the same watching His Man 2 but I don’t think all things are scripted tho. What I do think is they are oriented to talk about certain things at certain places.

I agree with you! I think it’s normal to sympathize with Shun and care for him like I think most people will feel protective about him, I also felt like that. But Shun is a human and he can also make mistakes in life and hurt people. Of course Dai can also make mistakes but he was already being called names since EP1 when he did nothing that wrong so I felt it was a bit unfair. People went to his own IG to say things and Shun was also receiving a lot of bad comments about Dai on his IG and I was like whaaat???

At least the majority are defending him more now but I think that this only happened because Shun messed up a little in the past episodes so now people are pitying Dai and saying bad things about Shun. I feel bad for these guys because people are literally flooding them on IG.
