You know that kind of drama that could’ve been better bou you still liked it? This is one of them

I think those who were active here probably saw me commenting practically everyday about this drama. I was soooo addicted and I found myself anxiously awaiting the episodes every day. The plot is good, the special effects in the fighting scenes was good, I loved all the characters they’re sooo cute and their chemistry was awesome. I was memorized by Esther’s and Yu Xi’s acting and their chemistry was good. I also looooved Esther’s style and hair acessories and YuXi, in special, really captivated me here. He’s so natural with his acting and his expressions are really on point. EP32 was so beautiful…ZiQi/Fu Zhou story was good and his final speech was cute! I think the OST was fine too!

Unfortunately after episode 20 some plot holes and continuity flaws started to appear, and the development of the main couple became a bit strange. I had the impression that the director cut some scenes and because of that some things didn't seem to be connected. I was still enjoying the drama but I can’t totally ignore some things. For example and I believe many will agree with me, when Miao Miao recovers her memory and meets Ziqi again, nothing is explained. She simply understands that he likes her (probably by the flower decoration) and he simply accepts that she likes him (without questioning what happened before with the marriage thing). The whole thing about the bracelet that was important in the story before, was completely left aside later and no one questioned anything. Miao Miao’s and ZiQi’s relationship was simply growing up and I felt like they didn’t really confessed their feelings for each other which even the second couple did. Suddenly they were a thing but I felt like something was kind missing.

Also having a (hidden) kiss in the last minutes when the characters were rewatching their scenes together and making their final reunion in the real world hidden for us was definitely a choice. I mean they met but we don’t really see them meeting like WHYYYYYY? They robbed us for real.

I also felt like 32 episodes was too short as we had a lot of characters and story to explain. But yeah despite all of this, I still enjoyed this drama. It’s a good and excting watch and I agree with people saying that this is one of the best dramas of the year. It’s totally a drama that will make you addicted. I’m already hoping and praying for one more Esther and YuXi drama reunion haha

A place where you can’t exactly call home but it definitely feels like it.

The Boyfriend definitely surprised me. It’s kind rare for me to like all participants in a reality show but in this one, everyone was likeable. They were so different from each other but in a way they respected each other and complemented each other. It was also kind refreshing seeing people with different nationalities and having different mindsets and jobs. Even the commentators were nice and funny.

I really enjoyed the scenes were all of them were together talking about their feelings, thoughts and about their sexualitys. Also I liked that we had two bisexuals in the house, loved the representation <3 The last episodes were really emotional and I don’t recall watching a dating reality show who gave me this kind of feeling. We could really feel how everyone was feeling sad and didn’t want to leave.

The only thing that I definitely disliked about the show is that the boys stayed in the house for 1 month but we had episodes with 30 minutes each, which was too short. I felt like we didn’t see a lot of important things and some conflicts or decisions that the guys had, seemed random, forced or out of context. I blame the editors for this because although they tried to explain some conflits, I had the constant feeling that things were rushed or didn’t happened exactly like that.

Talking more about the guys now: Shun was definitely a controversial participant and I think he’s the kind of guy who some people might like and others might hate. But I hope that although you can disagree with him or find him immature, you will still see him as a person who deserves care and love. Respect him as a person and understand that his life was not so good and he definitely still have some scars that needs more time to heal. Dai was also kind of controversial in the beginning and people were so unfair to him but I’m happy that later most realized he’s a great person who also deserves love. I’m glad he was a respectful guy until the end and proved everyone wrong. You might don’t approve DaiShun as a couple but I think Dai it’s a person who can help Shun deal with his issues. They were also entertaining and cute to watch and I hope that if they’re still together, both of them are happy and in a healthy relationship.

Kazuto is a handsome great and mature guy and I understand why everyone was chasing him. But I think he felt pressed and couldn’t really fall in love with anyone, although he tried with Alan. Alan was also a guy that I really liked and he was kind of a big brother to everyone. He helped and cared for all guys. Taeheon also had this big brother kind of vibe and he deserved so much better omg :( I couldn’t understand why no one liked him romantically.

Gensei and Ryota were soulmates in my mind and they made so much sense together but I understand that we can’t feel love with our heads so unfortunately Ryota didn’t feel the same for Gensei. Usak was kind of lost to me but I feel like he did his best and we could see that he respected everyone there.

Ikuo was the last one to came and I think this got in his way and he couldn’t be really close to anyone but I liked him and I think he’s really mature. But I must say that I found his letter to Dai kind of cringe because he did a whole ass speech when it’s very clear that Dai likes Shun and it also seemed kind of a shade to Shun. He was like “I’ll put your feelings first!!! I’ll care for you!!!!” lol but I understand that he wanted to be sincere about his feelings in the end.

In general I really liked the show, for me it was one of the best LGBT+ dating show. I wish to see more of the guys soon and I hope all guys are happy now, they really deserve <3. Hoping for a season 2!

Live or die, what would you choose? What is the meaning of life for you?

I must say, I'm a fan of Alice in Borderland since season 1 because besides liking survivor games, the concept of this drama is so interesting and well thought. I really liked the concept of the playing cards and the characters being inspired by Alice in Wonderland. And it gets even cooler when we finally find out about the whole truth in the last episode, everything just matched and it didn't seemed forced.

Basically, the characters we see in the game were involved in an accident caused by a meteor. Because of that accident they were stuck between life and death and they went to borderland. Only those who survived in the game and chose to return to real life, returned to the physical world. The ones who chose to stay, would remain in the borderland and become a game master until they lose to somebody. I actually think that explanation made sense, especially if we think that the characters have been wondering about the value of life since the beginning and whether they wanted to stay in that world or go back to the real world. Also, the writer clearly made a comparative between "wonderland" and "borderland", both being not a real world.

Now let's talk more about the games and the characters in this season. My favorites games definitely were the ones involving Chishiya. I swear it's not because he's my favorite character but I think they were the most interesting games, with the most interesting ideas. But I liked the game with Arisu, Usagi and the little boy too. It was a fun game. I expected a little more about the first games involving Yamapi. I was so excited for his character and don't get me wrong, I like it, it's just that I wished something a little more. Chishiya was my favorite character like I said but the girls literally dominated this season tho, I just loved all of them. They were so brave, charismatic, strong <3 totally badass. Arisu and Usagi chemistry were good as well and it's impossible to not like them too. One of the things I liked in this drama its that we see a little of everyone's life so we can understand the characters better. This make them seem more human, even if we don't like them or their action in the game. (not Niragi tho, its impossible to like him even with his past scenes)

They spend too much time on the big revelation in EP8 but I still appreciated because it seemed like the writer really knew what us, the viewers, hoped it was the final revelation. Would it be a virtual game like Sword Art Online? Would it be really like a survival game with humans betting on them and seeing who would win? Would it all be Arisu's imagination? There were so many possibilities to explain what was going on and it seems that the writer knew that we would think of several different things, so he took advantage of this in the end and played with us. Seriously, I literally believed everything the queen said, every time, because it all sounded reasonable.

But I got to say, IT PISSED ME OFF how Niragi survived in the end, he was a complete trash, I think it was one of the things I disliked the most in the end. Also, I wished we could see all characters reuniting, not only Arisu and Usagi :( But yeah, in general, it was a pretty fun, creative and interesting drama with a lot of interesting and amazing characters as well. I don't know if they will produce a season 3 (the "joker" card made me think they would), but I hope not. I think this season ended well and I'm afraid with a season 3, everything would be too forced.

Enjoyable drama but the plot is kind obvious

Revenge of Others had me excited most of the episodes especially at the beginning and we do have some interesting characters. We also have pretty violent scenes here but it was a positive thing for me as this is a revenge drama. The ones who got mostly got tortured here really deserved it. The main OST is pretty addicting too.

Talking about the characters, Ji Soo Heon, our "hero", is a really charming character and it's impossible to not like him, for me he was one of the good things that the drama has to offer. I really enjoyed Solomon's acting in this drama! Jae Beom was also an interesting one. The actor nailed his scenes and he really shined in the last episodes, more than the main leads. I joked to my friends that I started liking Soo Heon but ended liking Jae Beom more lol Chan Mi is character we do root for, first because we want to know what happened to her brother, second because she has a lot of scenes being bullied in the school. But her character lacked something for me. I wasn't able to love her and I love the actress, but for some reason I didn't enjoyed her character that much here. The writer also made her too stupid sometimes. Her scenes with Soo Heon were pretty cute tho. O Sung and Ji Hyun were pretty hateful characters but O Sung was an interesting character. The actor nailed for me, really convincing. So Yeon has an exotic appearance so she was really interesting to me and of course we do root for her because we know what she went through. Also the idea of "revenge" was kind of hers. But I think the character could have been something more.

I think the drama started really well and I was really addicted. Of course we had some dumb scenes and decisions made by the characters (especially Chan Mi) but still was good for me. But I got to say, although Jae Beam's DID was already hinted by the drama, the way that the writer developed this in the last episode was kind cringe and messed up to me. And if we really think about the plot, it was kind obvious. The writer tried to mess up with our minds in the half of the drama but if you think closely the murder was obvious since the beginning. We also ended up not knowing what would happen to Soo Heon and I think it was an important thing since the drama mentioned his illness repeatedly. I had the feeling that for some reason the ending felt finished but open at the same time. I think the only thing that really surprised me in the drama was the LGBT theme. I was really not expecting.

So yeah in general I think it's an enjoyable and fun drama and I do recommend if you like high school dramas with revenge and mystery plot. But do not expected something really cleaver.

Too good for you to ignore!

First, if you like slice of life and family dramas, this one will definitely please you. Its also very funny in the beginning, Second that I have never seen a historical drama where the female characters unite as much as it does here. The sisterhood is amazing. It's impossible not to get attached to these characters and the sisterhood they share. They fight for their rights and always helps each other. and although the romance is not the main focus, the couples scenes are extremely cute and we easily become attached to the them. The two main leads are wonderful too. Li Wei the very first feminist in the world, I loved her! She can be annoying for some people but for me her actions were really plausible and I liked how she cared more for herself in the beginning. Later, she begins to grow up and deal better with things and wow, she become even more wonderful. Our Prince Yin Zheng is really a prince. Always treated Li Wei as she deserved and he was just so sweet with her and with all characters. I also loved him.

The secondary characters are amazing too, especially Yuan Ying who was one of my favorites. Speaking of her, she could become an obstacle for the main couple and be a boring character as usual in romantic comedies, but here the character is given a importance and she does not disturb the couple, on the contrary, she helps them and creates a very beautiful friendship with Li Wei. Most of the characters here have a very satisfying ending too and the ending was perfect. So yeah, this drama was a very good surprise for me and Im happy I gave a shot and watched until the end.

If you're looking for a romance drama, this one might not suit you so much and I think that's the only negative thing I would say about this drama because I started looking for something more romantic and I do wish we had more romantic scenes especially between main couple. but still, I love a good slice of life and family drama and this one was AMAZING. Please give it a chance like I did because this drama has too many good points to ignore. I will miss them :(

Had a good star but then...

I think the drama started well but declined halfway to the end. The story seemed interesting at first but then became repetitive and it didn't seem to get out of place. The demon characterization of the main lead was pretty bad too. And Other thing I didn't liked that much was the prince, who started out as a cool character but turned out to be a boring character. I think for some people this drama can be very good but for me it was disappointing in these parts. But one thing I liked was the main leads and the couple. They really had chemistry with each other and I loved their characters since the beginning. Their end was very cute too.

So yeah, I think it could have been better because the start was really captivating and the characters have chemistry with each other. But too bad that I got tired in halfway.

Story: (8.0/10)
In terms of romance, this drama is awesome. The main couple had a lot of chemistry, the love scenes was wonderful. I got jealous of them because I wanted a romance like that. But well, for some people the story can be boring and the last episodes was pretty bad. In general, it's a medium story, nothing impressive.

Acting/Cast: (9.0/10)
The cast is good. They chose very well the male and female lead because they had a wonderful chemistry. The others characters was also well played but Jung Hae In and his sister (i don't remember the actress name), stood out the most. I really loved Jung Hae In's character, he was so loving, caring and a great boyfriend. Actually he was a boyfriend material.

Music: (9.0/10)
OMG I LOVED THE OST!!!!!!!!! The soundtrack was incredible and made the moments of the couple more beautiful and enjoyable!

Rewatch Value: (7.5/10)
The romance is really good so it can be valid to watch again but not the entire drama because the story isn't that much great.

Overall: (8.0/10)
I feel that the drama started very good but got lost in the final episodes. The female lead is so boring and immature... I got tired of her. Of course the main lead isn't perfect but I felt that he was much more mature than her. Anyway, it was a drama that I enjoyed watching. The plot isn't that great and the last episodes was a mess, seemed like the directors got lost about the story but I really liked the romance of the main couple so I don't think it was a lost of time after all. The final episode could be better tho. I think you must watch to make you own opinions.
Now I have to wait for the next drama that Jung Hae In will do because I'm completely in love with this guy HAHA.

Delivered what I wanted and it was exciting for sure!

First, If you were excited about the action scenes you won't be disappointed because these scenes were amazing and very well directed. We have a lot of fighting scenes in this and they don't disappoint. We also have a lot of gore scenes too which I found a good thing because we`re talking about a revenge drama involving gang so we needed more realistic things. The photography and OST were also very good, I loved the OST. Talking now about the acting, for me Sohee and Hee Soon were beyond amazing. I was worried if Sohee could pass a badass image but she did. She was amazing in the fighting scenes and very good in the emotional scenes as well. After Nevertheless, which a lot of people doubted her acting skills, I think now she really proved that she's an amazing actress indeed. She was fierce and very strong physically and psychologically. And OH MY GOD, Hee Soon`s acting was INSANE. he was my favorite character of the drama. The actor did an amazing job here portraying the character and I think its almost impossible not liking him here. Moojin was sexy, bad and at the same time very human too. And the actor delivered everything PERFECTLY.

But, I do think the drama have some flaws and things that I think it could have been better. First, Jiwoo`s father killer was too obvious since the beginning. Although I don't particular think that the drama was ruined because of that, they could have tried to surprise the viewer more and the whole revelation was meh for me as a viewer. Second, some characters was really off for me and could have been better or more explored. Taejoo for example, I think they could have made the character more capable because I can feel that the actor can act and if they had made the character more interesting he would probably be one of the best or if not the best in the series. Instead, the character was just there to be Moojin's right arm and that's it. There weren't any impactful scenes of this character and he practically didn't do anything relevant. Pildo too... I LOVE Bohyun but for me his character was really meh. His whole relationship with Jiwoo also seemed a bit forced and I didn't even think the actors had that much of chemistry (I even felt more chemistry of her with Moojin). The crazy dude with a scar was amazing in acting but his character was really cartoon like. And least, one thing that I think it can bother some people is that making a badass character it can bring a negative side too such as he or she being TOO strong sometimes. Jiwoo was weak when the script needed and hella strong when needed too which looked unrealistic sometimes.

Still, for me, although the negative things can bother sometimes it can also be forgotten because the narrative is really convincing and the drama is really well made. Also, they delivered the things I think we were all waiting for: an exciting thriller with good fighting scenes and a a badass female character beating some trash men. If you're looking for that, I think you'll finish this with more pros than cons.

Story: (9.5/10)
OMG, I LOVED THIS DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even with a few cliches here and there, it was one of the few dramas that actually talks about how marriage is in Korea, and how women are treated in society, especially at work. It's very different from what I usually see and it's quite different from the k-drama standard.
Ji Ho and Soo Ji were the queens of this drama. They have been able to show how women can be strong, independent and self-owned.
Ji Ho faced a lot of problems during the drama but never kept silent about them and especially Soo Ji, she was a REAL QUEEN.

Acting/Cast: (9.0/10)
They chose the cast very well. I felt that every actor and actress was the perfect choice for their prospective characters. The main actress who played Ji Ho knew how to demonstrate every emotion of the character, we could feel everything she felt. She wasn't too slow or too crazy. She had a really nice balance that made all of us like her, which is sometimes, difficult in k-dramas. The main actor was perfect too. I loved his character. Ji Ho and Se Hee were very cute together. I loved their partnership, their support to each other, their "freedom", because yes, even married, they weren't in a jail. I loved that they were totally against what korean society expects of them.
I loved all!!!!

Music: (9.0/10)
Loved the soundtrack!!!!!! Each song fit the scene and made everything exciting. I downloaded two.

Rewatch Value: (9.0/10)
It's so good that i'm watching again. I think everyone will want it too.

Overall: (9.0/10)
It was one of the best k-dramas of the year, brought a great story, wonderful characters and  left a huge void in me after I finished. It's a must watch drama!!!!!

Revenge theme dramas with female centric focus always snatch!

Gosh, what a ride! I love revenge dramas, so this was a real treat for me, especially with such an engaging plot full of plot twists that make us unable to take our eyes off the screen and amazing characters.

- Story:
As I said I think the story were really engaging and interesting! This is a kind of drama that we end up speechless in each episode because it always have some kind of plot twist in the end. Unfortunately I do think we had some draggy episodes (EP19-23) but fortunately it gets better again after EP24.

- Characters/Acting:
The characters here are amazing, especially the female characters! Du Ling, our female lead, completely nailed this drama and her acting as Han Yan was amazing! Han Yan is also an amazing character! She’s strong, smart and cunning. Han Yan’s mother was also an amazing character and kudos to the actress who also did an excellent job portraying this character! Also kudos to Ru Yi’s actress who made us hate her but then simpatize with her later. In general this drama is mostly a female centric drama which most female characters shine and have important parts in the story.

But of course the male lead is also important to the story. Yun Lai’s acting, our male lead, was criticized for a lot of people and I do think he could be better but it didn’t bothered me that much especially because he had chemistry with the characters. Also I enjoyed his character a lot! Yun Xi, as Han Yan, is also intelligent and cunning, and his dynamic with her was sensational. In general I feel like the dinamic and bond between the characters were really good and emotional here.

- Romance:
I think this is the only thing I ended up a little disappointed. The dinamic between the main leads are so good that we want to see even more of them, especially romantically, but unfortunately we don’t see much. It’s only an appetizer here which it was a little disappointing. I think in general their relationship is a rollercoaster, and they alternate between enemies and allies practically until the end. It’s kind of a red flag relationship which although both of them will help and cherish each other, they also lied and hurt each other a lot in the process.

- Cinematography/Direction/Soundtrack:
I think the cinematography and direction here was good! I heard that it was a low budget drama but it didn’t felt like that to me at all, it wasn’t that noticeable. And the soundtrack was excellent oh my god, it made the scenes even better, the lyrics and emotions matched perfectly!

So yeah, this drama was really good for me! If you like revenge theme dramas or female centric dramas I really recommend this one!

PS: I’m already expecting more dramas of this writer because I loved “The Double” last year and this year he gave us “The Glory” who was also amazing for me so I’m excited for his next projects as well!

A beautiful bond between a mom and her daughter

I think the synopsis can be misleading because this drama here it’s more like a family drama than anything. At the beginning it may seems like it’s going to be a drama about mother and daughter looking for love/boyfriend but then the drama totally turn out to be about love involving family, especially about a mother and her daughter.

For me this drama was a good surprise because I didnt think I was going to love that much. All characters are so lovable and charismatic, I loved all of them. And the bond all of them made it’s so precious too, especially the mom-daughter relationship. Their scenes was amazing and I even cried in some of them. I saw myself in Sora a lot. Also the two main actresses was really good and now I’m a fan of them. And I LOVED Sora-Hikaru relationship omg I wished we had more scenes of them being a couple :( Aoi and Gon were cute together too. I think this it’s the only thing I have to talk negatively about this drama because I loved these relationships so much but sadly none of them are really executed :( In the end we don’t know for sure that Sora will end up with Hikaru and Aoi with Gon (altought we can feel that). I just hoped we could seen more scenes with them becoming a couple because they really have chemistry. But yeah, I do understand that this wasn’t the main focus of the drama. It’s about the love and bond of a mom and her daughter. It’s about family.

If you like slice of life dramas with great characters, acting and a great pace (without feeling that the scenes are too boring), I really recommend this.

A few flaws but still refreshing

I knew I would like this drama since the beginning and they really captivated me. I mean, how can we not be captivated by such cute village? Gongjin village really made me wanna visit and live there. And the characters here are really charismatic too, with only a few ones that I found irritating. Let’s talk more about them and the drama’s story below.

First, Dusik is probably one of the best male characters of the year. I loved this man SO SO MUCH he was so real and a perfect mix of a cutie and a intelligent wise man. Hyejin on the other side was difficult to love at first because the way she treated Dusik was pretty annoying. But she got better in the half of the drama and I liked how she was there for Dusik when he really needed as he was there for her when she needed too. And althought I think she was annoying in some scenes, I still found her character relatable in many others. The couple omg…I DIED IN ALL THEIR SCENES!!! They had such a good chemistry, I loved them. As the other characters, I really liked them especially the grandma, Hyejin’s friend, the policemen, Sung Hyun, Chun Jae and his daughter. Actually the kids here was amazing I loved all of them. I need to talk more about Sung Hyun because it was such a lovely character. I liked how he respected Hyejin’s decision and made a friendship with Dusik. I hate love triangles in dramas so I really liked this. The only characters I found annoying was Nam Seok and Yeon Duk. At least Nam Seok got better later…which I can’t say the same about Yeon Duk because I still didn’t liked him even in the end.

Talking now about the story, it’s pretty simple actually but I was really addicted, maybe because it’s a refreshing environment with a lot of different characters. But I can’t lie, some things bothered me a little and I got the “it could have been better” feeling. Dusik’s past for example. For me, I had the feeling that everything happened too fast and it was resolved too fast too. And I don’t know if it was only me but Hwa Jeong and Yeon Duk getting back together too was so “?” for me I HATED! Maybe because I didn’t liked this character but it seemed too forced for me. Other thing that made me really angry was grandma death. I think the writers wanted Dusik to see death as a thing it’s not related to him but seriously he could have seen that without making the grandma die. For me it was such a needless move, and it was done in the last episode too which seemed a little forced as well.

Besides these flaws, I still liked this drama. Gongjin’s scenery, the cultural, the local food, the characters, everything in this drama it’s really refreshing and if you like dramas that are focused on people living their daily lifes I really recommend this. Hometown Cha Cha Cha it’s a refreshing and healing drama and for sure it’s going to be remembered .

PS: I loved the OST as well for sure It’s going be one of my favorites of the year.

It’s not perfect but definitely one of the best thillers

Flower of Evil is a thriller and at the same time a melodrama and this can bother some people but for me it was fine as I was really invested in the characters stories. For some people the scenes can be too emotional in the half of the drama but for me it made sense based on the things that was happening in the characters life.

Flower of Evil have a lot of positive things. First, the story about our main lead Hee Seong/Hyun Su is REALLY interesting and made me lose my mind the whole time. I was really curious to know more about these characters and what happened in their past and I couldn’t see plot holes in it, everything made sense for me. Even tho it was obvious for me that Hyun Su wasn’t the accomplice of the serial killer (because come on he’s main lead he couldn't be the villain) I still found the plot pretty interesting and exciting. The relationship between the main leads are awesome as well and the actors had a wonderful chemistry together. The OST was AMAZING too seriously I loved all songs and bgm. The acting was other thing that I loved and all actors did an amazing job here especially Joon Gi, who was fenomenal as usual, Chae Won, who was in the same steps as him, and the actor who did the serial killer, who was amazing too (and seriously hot lol). As I said, this drama have a lot of positive things and I was really addicted to it, I couldn't stop watch. The director certainly knew what he was doing here as almost all episodes were exciting and thrilling. It’s like you finish one episode and can’t move one without watching the next episode lol

The things I didn't liked about this drama was the characters actions in some episodes and the finale episode. First, Hyun Su not noticing that his wife figure out everything was no sense for me because PLEASE she is a police officer and was investigating his case, and on top of that she changed her attitude towards him out of nowhere so it's odd that he didn't noticed anything. And how do they leave their daughter with Hyun Su's sister without any protection from the police? The fact that they didn't think that the serial killer could go after them was ridiculous too. The last episode was one more thing that I didn’t enjoyed, I don't know it looked TOO forced. Memory loss it’s one of the worst things that can happen in a drama because most of the time only drag the plot and doesn't benefit the drama at all. And altought I think I know the reasons why the screenwriter put this on the drama, Hyun Su losing his memories was too random for me, seriously the end could have been way better. It was like EP15 was the finale episode, not the EP16.

But even with some flaws, I can totally understand why this drama was really popular last year and why its considered one of the best thrillers. It is really interesting and captivating and I totally recommend this if you like thriller because I think its almost impossible not like this one.

A good drama with an interesting concept but with some downfalls

I was REALLY excited to watch The Devil Judge mainly for the cast because all actors are really good and as expected I don't have complains about this. Every actor did an amazing job here! Jinyoung was really good and he definitely proved that he's one of the best idol actors out there (although he isn't an idol anymore), but Jisung and Min Jung are really the best thing here. Jisung as always portrayed the character PERFECTLY, we can always trust him in acting, and Min Jung was fenomenal too. The way her character is sassy and evil but at the same time she's always classy and calm is *chef kiss*. Jang Young Nam as the justice minister was really good too! As I said I think everyone did a good job here so the best thing about this drama for me is definitely the cast and the good acting.

Among the characters in the drama the most interesting ones were certainly Yohan and Sun Ah. They both did what they wanted and even manipulated certain things but with completely different intentions, as Sun Ah did everything for money. I really enjoyed the interaction of both characters and for me they were the main point to move the story and make the viewer like the drama and want to watch it more. Many may think that Sun Ah`s suicide scene was random but I believe it was the only option for a character who would rather die than seeing that everything she had conquered was for nothing. The justice minister was also an interesting character who captivated me throughout the drama. Unfortunately for me, the other characters were not as interesting as these 3. Despite understanding Gaon and knowing that it was necessary to have an honest character among the corrupt ones, Ga On is quite irritating in the drama and takes extremely stupid attitudes for a lawyer. Ga On`s friend and police officer was nice at first but her attitudes also start to bother me in the drama and I honestly didn't feel her death so much. Sun Ah`s poppets were also extremely annoying and very caricatured characters, they didn't show anything new except that old "I`m evil, I don't have remorse and I just care about money" story.

About the plot, I think that The Devil Judge have a really interesting concept. The dystopian world and how the judgments were showed to the entire population was very interesting. Sure, some punishments may have felt forced but we're talking about a dystopian world so in the narrative it makes sense. The different perspectives of Yohan and Ga On were also interesting as we have Yohan, who thinks that following the law correctly does not matter because power and money always prevail and we have evil people everywhere, and Gaon, who is a honest and naive lawyer and he still believes that following the law correctly is above everything. It is interesting that both perspectives, although different, are correct and can be applied in today's world. (altought as I said before, Ga On was a character that bothered me a lot). Other think I liked was that even though those corrupt politicians left the power, the system was still not destroyed and we still have corrupted politicians because we will always have evil people everywhere, for me this part was really realistic. Yohan being considered a god to the society was REALLY interesting as well because it shows how the society can be really blind by the ministry. However I cannot say the plot was well made in the entire drama. We had some scenes which seemed forced and things miraculously worked out, especially in the final episode. I began to lose focus on the drama and the plot seemed no longer as interesting as before, I was only watching for the good acting and Yohan and Sun Ah, but I believe that the irritating attitudes of the other characters may have contributed to this.

Talking now about the last episode, I didn’t really liked, it was almost like an open ending. Both Yohan and Ga On did a lot of things together in the drama and even tho they fought in almost all scenes the plot kind showed us a “bromance” going on between them. But the ending was too “meh” and Yohan walking away looked like he was saying “yep we did what we had to do and that’s it goodbye”. I don’t know I little expected more for characters that had such connection in the drama. Besides that, the final episode did not please me very much as I thought it was quite exaggerated and the scene of Yohan faking his death and then miraculously appearing to save Ga On was kind forced. The courtroom scene where the villains pull each other out to try to leave and then Sun Ah shoots the president was also a bit over the top for me (although I screamed a lot because Sun Ah was a legendary character until the end). The final scene between Yohan and Ga On was kind meh too, I expected a little more.

Overall The Devil Judge has an interesting concept and definitely keeps the viewer stuck. It's not perfect for me because I think the drama lost a bit of quality in some episodes mainly because the characters attitude bothered me a lot and some things seemed forced in the script, but for sure this is a drama that I enjoyed watching and I recommend.
PS: the direction scenes and OST were amazing too, for sure one of the best things in this drama!

Friends and family united to one sport

I think that the best thing about this drama is how the young characters are extremely captivating. Each one is different but they really complete each other, it's impossible to not like one them. Haekang can be immature sometimes but he's a really caring guy and really talented. Yoondam, as the oldest, is cautious and reserved but he's also friendly and cute. Woochan and Yong Tae are SO SO CUTE I adopted them after this show. And as every team has a "brain" in it, here we have Insol to do this part. He's intelligent and altought he looks cold outside he's also caring and really cute. I loved all of them. The girls are also captivating. Seyoon is the "prestigious" and talented girl but besides that she have a lot of insecurites and she's also a very good friend. Hansol is also cute and friendly. All characters have their own issues and all of them have one episode which their story is focused on, so that they can learn with their mistakes, grow up and mature.

I thought that the romance was a bad thing in the beggining but then I LOVED. I screamed so much in a lot of the couple scenes, the characters are really cute and adorable. In general, Racket Boys is an interesting drama because I never saw a sport drama focused on Badminton scenes, so this already makes the drama interesting to watch. And if you like something focused on friendship and a little bit of romance its going to be perfect for you. As the sport scenes, they were really well filmed as well, the director was awesome in this and made the games look really excting.

I can't say it's all perfect, I do think we had some problems and characters who really didn't fit the ton of the drama. Haekang's father was really annoying too, altought he do got better later. But I think that the young characters are so good, cute, their friendship and chemistry is so good, that we end up liking after all. And as I said, a sport drama focused in Badminton is also new and interesting.

So yeah, If you like squads, friendship, romance, cute characters and some good sport scenes, I recommend this. This is mostly like a TEEN drama as the main characters are teenagers, so don't expect something extremly deep and serious (altought we do have some scenes)
