All good queen! the prison arc lasts from chapters 259-268.
So yk how Chi's dad hates wsw and chi being together? So Chi's sister frames him for a crime (dont know what for lowkey lmao) it's in order to keep them apart and see what wsw would do. They thought wsw was going to sell Chi's apartment and run off with all the money. Instead wsw gives up EVERYTHING. The secret stash that was once for a future wife and his children now it was for Chi's retirement. He sold his parent's courtyard (the house) and then took out all the money for Chi's retirement to pay off (secretly) whoever to get Chi out of jail. Chi didn't know this until Chengyu found a way to get wsw into the prison to have a chat with Chi and that is when wsw told him that he gave up his precious secret stash. Chi knew how much wsw didnt like anyone touching this stash of money (yk how stingy he is with money LMAO). Chi says "I hate you" and storms out. Wsw never took the "I hate you" to heart. This chapter also marks the first time throughout the whole book/series that Chi will cry. He never once cried before that. This chapter just showed how much wsw LOVES chi, he gave up everything for him. He did it for selfish needs, with all the mirrors in the house everyday he woke up it was just him and he NEEDED chi there. At the end of the chapter Chi realizes the man he fell in love with is not the same person anymore and Chi is the one to blame. "That fiery little temper Chi Cheng loved most...was destroyed by his own hands." (chapter 263).
Lastly, I want to leave off with saying Chi never meant the I hate you. My favorite line in the book which was in chapter 266 said "It's not hate, its reluctance to part."
These were the most emotional chapters personally to me because it showed how much Chi and wsw truly are devoted to each other. As much as they fucked up in these part couple eps that have been released. There is one thing for sure they truly truly love each other inside and out.

the prison arc was the BEST part. I seriously loved it so much. i also bawled my eyes out. It sucks that they wont add it but atleast show SOMETHING that shows how much chi means to wsw yk???

they do rekindle after the mom dies, but no thats not the reason they get back together. its not simply out of pity, but he loves him and he wants him for life thats the reason. in the moment you can see "oh he just pitys him bc his mom died" but yk for a fact chi loves the shit out of him he hates to see wsw upset 😞

the break up only last 6 chapters. since they stopped around chapter 179 break up will be the start of the ep (prob around 15-20 minute mark) theyll be back tgther either end of it or mid to start of ep 19. itll suck for them to be broken up till next week but we still have 5 eps of them being lovey dovey! 💕💕
also they shortened the hell out of the mom stuff bc wsw doesnt know about his moms cancer yet (??? dont quote me it just doesnt look like it to me 😅)

wsw will found out about his mom while he was staying with her (he was kicked out by Chi after finding out about him staying about shuos house) um..and then quite literally shortly after chi will find out about the scheme. i think theyll drag it out till the end of the ep or beginning of ep 18 where the break up will happen

they can just make their own and leave this one alone for the rest of us to enjoy T_T

I dont think there will be any tonight either because everyone is upset. I just dont understand why they only announced it on Weibo and not on like X, Youtube, and Insta because not every fan has Weibo T_T. I was hoping atleast 1 BTS

In my opinion, I dont think we have been robbed. Were there scenes cut? yeah, but who cares? They are still serving an amazing drama. It is the number 1 BL airing right now. So what if the NC scene was cut short or the kiss scene was cut. There was many cute kiss scenes (like the firework scene ugh so adorable) and we got our NC scene in ep 12. I don't think they need to give us anything else. We got what we needed now sit and enjoy the show because I didnt sign up for a NC show like when I read the book it was HEAVY on it. I loved the book, dont get me wrong but wowzer LMAO.
So again, its sad that scenes are cut but they have to understand a lot of aspects on why it was cut. We got our cute scenes and we will have many more in upcoming eps they can chill out. <3

I really enjoyed the novel version! Were there some things that I was like..ohh, this is um insane? Oh by far a lot. Im glad they are keeping the main aspect but toning down the other stuff. I was fed with the NC scenes in the book that I dont really think I need them in this show just let me infer lmaooo. I liked Chi's freakiness and Wu instigating it because he liked it.

It was my favorite thing to watch at 12 am. I even would stay up to watch it. They were just so adorable.

I just dont understand why they all have a problem with Wang Shuo getting a couple extra minutes in the last couple of eps, but do they understand that it is kinda fundamental for him to come in? Do they want to continue watching the same shit over and over again. Wu Suo Wei wasnt gonna tell Chi anything about his scheme or talk about that kiss he witnessed. So in order for things to come to light Shuo needed to be there and create suspense and drama. He is literally here for 3-4 eps and then leave. I dont think he comes back until Wu Suo Wei goes back into the hospital for hand injury. Which is like CHAPTERS later. We are talking 240+.
So yeah he got a couple extra minutes than Chi and Wu Suo Wei because he plays a big character in these chapters. Simply, just watch the show and deal with it because again ITS A DRAMA or stop watching it because you dont like the way it is. We dont need to be going after people for simply doing their job and presenting us a good fictional DRAMA nor do we need to come after the actors in any way because again THEYRE JUST DOING THEIR JOB.
